  1. I'll be there, but could do with someone to shows us the nice spots as we never really ride in town.
  2. Looks awesome, does it ride as good as it looks?
  3. That was great, was a really good watch and the riding was gooooood!
  4. No its not a flatspot, its sort of like it has got buckled at the same point inwards on both sides of the rim.
  5. No No No I'm not trying to blame you, I'll give it a go using an adjustable spanner but hopefully when I raise the funds I will be getting myself a nice new wheel set.
  6. To be honest I think you would be much better off getting yoursel the onza bird instead of the rip because the bird has a 19" back wheel and will be stronger and more suitable parts etc. On the subject of brakes I too agree that a vee brake with the right pads can be as good if not better than a magura.
  7. Its a try all rim, the one I got from you! Thats it.
  8. Yeh sort of but it goes inwards on both sides of the rim at the same point so when the the pads are pressed against the rim at this point it means you have to push further making it weird etc.
  9. Right here is my situation.... After my front disc going all weird I decided to go back to front rim brake. After getting and fitting etc my new brake I found a problem with my rim. At a certain point (where the valve pops through on both sides it goes inwards making the brake sort of pump or like when you have a bent rotor. Is there anyway to sort this? Only thing i thought of was to grand harshly the rim all the way round apart from this area Anyone got any ideas?
  10. Apart from the headset as the onza's have internel headsets not external it should all be ok to swap.
  11. Yeh i'd be up for it if you rode sheffield, never actually been on a big group ride so should be nice for a change. Oh and I too have just one arm lol
  12. Use caustic soda, it will come off virtually instantly.

    Sweet riding there
  14. Why not strip the paint off to silver? Using caustic soda should take no time as well.
  15. If I were you i'd get yourself the trialtech bars...... http://www.tartybikes.co.uk/product.php?pr...category_id=138 and a monty pr stem.............. http://www.tartybikes.co.uk/product.php?pr...;category_id=29 Job's a good'en. You are best off getting the correct ones now rather than a cheaper option and having to upgrade when you get better. Oh and don't forget you will need a sloping top cap!
  16. Yeh its a 2 bolt booster, just try it, shouldn't take long to put back if you don't like it. If you are looking for a new booster I strongly recomend the trialtech 2 bolt booster because it is so effective and very light.
  17. Yeh I have the echo team frame which has a built in booster but it deffinately needed the booster.
  18. Your best just fitting it and seeing what it feels like to you as everyone has their personal opinions. For me presonally I run a two bolt trialtech booster and find it way better than I did without.
  19. Nice work there, the riding was pretty dam good and the edit/video was nice to watch. Keep it up!
  20. IMO higher set ups are a lot nicer to ride with, also make sure you get some risers as they feel a lot nicer than flats ( the triatech risers seem really popular). For a stem the try-all nuc stems are again popular and have a nice geo. Onza forks are also very long and heavy so I would consider changing them as well.
  21. Today I got the croco pads and fitted them into my phatpad backings, first impressions are that they are really good and are a lot louder but seen as my front hub has just about packed in as being a disc hub i am going to put a front echo tr brake with the phatpads on in power pad backings. For the front do you recomend I grind my rim or keep it smooth?

The edit and angles etc made it so good to watch and I liked all the locations. Great work!
  23. I second that, pretty sure he is correct.
  24. Right I run, echo team frame with built in booster, 08 magura, zoo lever, standard hose, try all rim, tensile mounts, trialteech 2 bolt booster, phatpads ,metal tpa oh and a pimp purple bleed bolt I ordered myself some of the try all croco yellow pads which should hopefully be with me tomorrow so I will update the situation then.
