    " Peep Game "

I'd ruddy well copy danny mac if i could (but not really sure if this guy is, doubt he learned to bunny hop whip in ten days....), as others have said i see no problem in doing whatever you find fun on the bike you most enjoy riding.
  4. Just out of interest, is there anything decent at torpoint?

    Sidehops

Cheers for all the comments guys. It basically seems sidehopping the way i do isn't a disaster, might lose a bit from not being able to tuck quite as much. Gonna work on both sides though, cos being able to go big both ways is gonna be damn useful. Good to know tunnicliffe does it that way though, pretty sure if it's good enough for him it's good enough for me, i'm more about having a laugh than concentrating on one move, but good to know i ain't wasting my time like. Cheers, Lar

    Sidehops

This has probably been discussed before, but it's something i've been thinking about recently, so would be good to hear advice about etc. I can sidehop best in the direction of my front foot (I ride left foot forward, i sidehop to the left). It feels way more natural and i can go higher that way. Sidehopping to backwheel this way feels a bit odd though, cos you don't naturally twist towards the wall (if you get me?), and most people who are good seem to sidehop away from their lead foot. I'm basically asking, is it worth me going back to a tardish level of sidehopping and learning to sidehop going away from my drive foot? Is it gonna make other moves easier etc? Or should i just go with what feels natural? Advice, opinions, abuse all welcome, cheers and that.

    All In A Week Off....

    good vid that, i enjoyed.
  9. I've not seen anything like that before, apart from my old dicta after i cut if with an angle grinder to get the fecker off my cranks. Just recently got a tensile though, so i hope it don't go the same way as above....
  10. Yeah that's exactly what i meant but i described it less well, and for this method nothing needs to be glued anywhere as it is still working as intended, just with the bolt replaced.
  11. I'm occassionally out in plymouth, but tend not to ride the city centre much for some reason. Might be around a bit more soon as we're reasssembling the old crew, should be gurd, only we can drive this time round so it's much less hassle.
  12. Yeah it's either get naked in cold car park to get into me wetsuit, or spend the day mainly covered in neoprene or get a gay wagon to get changed in, neither of which are gonna happen. Fun and games.
  13. The way in that how to doesn't seem the neatest way to do it to me to be honest, if you replace the sheared bolt with another of the same thread, and cut a slot in the head so it can be used exactly as the original you still have the lovely red adjuster, and is probs more solid than the original. I'm guessing plenty people do it this way and i'm being dense? just thought i'd mention it, but feel free to shoot me down.
  14. No hibernation here, just ride harder to keep warmer. Surf more in the winter than i do in summer usually, and i have to get naked to do that so riding is fine.
  15. is bone hill any good then? Just out on a search now, pretty close to sheepstor (as close as is civilised anyway) so should be able to find something decent fun before dark. Cheers
  16. Cheers guys, a dartmoor mish will definatley be on soon. N.Wood - i think there's a chance i met you today, selling my mate some forks and a disk? Like i said only just got back into trials really, but learning again fairly quick, and probably better now than i was before i quit, which is pretty good. Tend to ride mainly locally to us (plympton area, pretty dull) but probably gonna get involved with the plymouth scene a bit more soon. Pretty keen for doing more natural now though, never really done it before so it's good to ride something different. Been riding looe a bit recently aswell which is damn good fun.
  17. Just got back into trials after a few years away, played with some natural the other day and enjoyed the change, so was wondering about other good natural spots near-ish (i have nothing against a bit of a mish for some decent riding) to plymouth? Suggestions of other decent places to play around here would be good too, now i've got a car don't want to or have to ride the same places all the time! Cheers
