Hey, This keeps happening to a lad I ride with. Is it the first time you've started using a metal tpa? Because they do seem to get cross threaded often but not as often as plastic ones. So if this is your first time using a metal one, you wont get it crossthreaded as often. Make sure that the bolt that the tpa threads onto is new. Because if the threads are jiggered it sends the tpa off the thread causing it to jam. There was no point making plastic tpas really because they work for a bit, then get jammed and are a bum to sort out. So yeah metal ones are the way forward. Ive got a 74 kings one now and it works no problem. But if you have any problems with your metal tpa now. Give us a shout and I'll make you one on my dads lathe. Thanks smithy x

Ebay's your best bet. But If you get validated you can pick one up very cheap in the F/S section.

Mines a Koxx Boxx. They look the shit. And ride a dream. x

Yeah! There is no Best frame as there are many of them and each are different. But the likes of a Mission Prodigy and a Koxx xtp there is a great difference in quality, weight, stength and looks maybe. But there is no Best Frame as there all different.

Ive used loads of stuff. But water seems to work the best. Sounds daft but it does. Gives a sharper lever feel. But to be honest it's best sticking with Magura Royal Blood, because hydraulic brakes need lubrication and water is not the best lubricant. The safest option is to use Magura royal blood. But theres other's that work. I've used WD-40, DOT 4, Royal Blood and water, and water is far the best and easiest. Oli x

I guess people don't have the skill to ride comps. They cant balance etc all they do is gap sidehop and tap. Mainly just sidehop. smithy xx

Yeah thats it. But on my first acount I advertised the falcons and nadine s does it now. I know theres more riders around here they just cba like ash. Its just pointless.

T-Pro's are a popular choice as the frame geo is good, same as the 05 koxx. But you can build up with the frame and make it into a very nice bike which rides ace. The thing is with T-pros, the standard parts arent really good. But you could pick one up cheap and then spend some more cash just building it up a little. Like putting new bar and stem on, new forks, amd possibly new wheels and cranks. You could easily make it into a tidy starting bike. Smithy x

Who Are You And What Bike Have You Got?

Hey ups. Im Oliver Smith and I ride a gu typhoon 2006. -
Hey. Just wondering how many of you ride comps? Because I ride for my local club, and its ace. And we have about 25 people max. But I know theres lots of riders out there, but you prefer street to natural which is extremely disapointing. My dad and his friend spent the weekend setting out the trial, Saturday setting the sections out and sunday observing and making sure the trial ran smoothy. I ask why do you not turn up to these competitions? They are so much fun and trials bikes were made to do comps. People spend time and effort to give you these chances. Yet people do not go. Why? Thats ace mate! I'll get some pics up of some of the stuff i've knocked up. smithy x

Good lad! You'll enjoy it. smithy x

Yeah! Don't bother with an Avid, just go for the Hope. There pretty sick. And for a hub. Its totally up to you, depends on what kind of rider you are. If you're a smooth rider you can run pretty much anything, because you wont brake it. I run a T-master hub up front (nothing special) but it does the job. But if you're a crazy street basher you might fancy somethig more stronger like a king or something deng like. Smithy x

Get a Gu 06 if possible. The best bike Deng has ever made. Look awesome and ride awesome. I'd definatley go for the GU bud. And no-buying or selling in NMC! smithy x
