  1. If you wanted all the mounts the same then go to a m6 and helicoil the lot job done.
  2. I use try all shin pads off tarty and they are awsome cant find a single problem with them.
  3. Wear a helmet!!! Also good riding but you sidehop the wrong way.
  4. you could do with being more specific with where on your bike the cracking sound is coming from. Most bikes crack and crunch as you ride them around its just parts settling in to place.
  5. Hahahahaahahahaha thats the best joke ever
  6. The thread runs about 1 and a half inches into the steerer. you can run a star nut with them just bash it through the thread and it will be fine. hope that helped. I have had some viz forks they had the threaded steerer but the snapped and the trialtech ones tarty sent are amazing forks compared. (disc versions).
  7. It is more than likely that there is a huge 100% or 200% markup on trials products as they are specialist products and not many places sell them.
  8. No advertising in NMC. Read the rules!
  9. It's gonna have to be a vee brake for the day. The disc wheel is in Plymouth.
  10. I'm using a 74 Kingz tensioner on mine and it's working fine a little loose but still holds the tension. A TrialTech 18t on the front fits fine misses by a good 2mm. I was running 22:18 on the old frame and found it wouldnt fit on the new one.
  11. Sorry those are the only photos ive got of the forks. Basically the forks snapped just above the weld for the disc brake mount. Tarty have stopped selling Viz Light Forks as far as i can see so i'll probably end up with the trialtechs but they are much heavier.
  12. If he hasnt heat treated the frame dont go near it. Welding the frame will seriously weaken it. He may say that its in good order but under that plate could be a split or a hole. hope that helped
  13. Haha good stuff i'm going to upload some pictures of the snap. http://i759.photobucket.com/albums/xx240/adamgriffiths/viz%20snap/Photo0132.jpg http://i759.photobucket.com/albums/xx240/adamgriffiths/viz%20snap/Photo0137.jpg
  14. I said i dont do gaps up to front. they went just above the weld, i'm running a 203mm rotor on a bb7. I do not not mean to be condescending allthough i may sound it.
  15. I bought a set of Viz light 26 inch forks back in december and they snapped the other day when i was out riding. I am not a basher and i dont do anything to front wheel. I was just wondering has anybody else had this problem with these forks?
  16. Post something useful. Also use punctuation and grammer. Capital letters may also be a bonus.
  17. You may have contaminated your disc and pads.
  18. If you set up a bb7 correctly they are amazing. You can adjust each pad on a bb7 but can't on a bb5. The bb7 is the better brake in my opinion, they are slightly more expensive but far better.
  19. when you are dropping off that building around 54 seconds in you need to be a lot closer to the edge. hope that helped
  20. No it wont damage your seal as a magura is mineral oil which is quite thin and engine oil is thick but they both lubricate.
