  1. 08 ones are much more finger friendly Plus there 6g lighter, if your into that kinda thing.
  2. Round ones Bit more info needed........
  3. Youshould also check the pedals + cages, usually i find that its them thats creaking rather than the bb.
  4. He's trying to get validated, by sucking up! Good luck
  5. Front or rear? Might b ok for the front, but deffinately wouldn't recommend it for the rear. For £90 you could get a 2nd hand Hope mini or Magura Louise, also BB7's are also very gd.
  6. Isnt some TR stuff lighter than the SL parts? Hubs for example, i think the TR front disk is actually lighter than the SL disk hub, this makes no sense Jamie

Nice vid:) Riding was really gd, looked like allot of fun. Thought the music worked well, but is 1 of my fav songs, so may be biased! Im jealous of Stu's garden, looks lush! Mowgli: U riding town tomorrow? I was thinking of a midday sess.
  8. Is it possible to lace a 28h try-all rim to a 32h echo tr hub, and if so how? Would ideally like to lace it 2x or 3x. Any help much appreciated. Thanks
  9. Black tyres = lush That top tube looks toooo thin
  10. Hi mate, I live in Bungay, currently at uni though. There's a few riders about the place. There's quite often a ride in Norwich and occasionally Lowey, best thing is to do a members search of people by county. Bound to find something. Jamie
  11. I'll be there, finished exams now
  12. Im also thinking of getting some riser bars, can anyone tell me the advantages of risers. Also when on the backwheel i always have to hop backwards, to regain balance, as my weight is too far back, would risers help with this? Jamie
  13. I'll b there Sav to, lending him my old bike, incase his frame dont come in time. Hav to look in to train times, dont even kno were Worthing is!
  14. Lovin the white frame Goes well with the orange, don't see many orange parts either, really nice. Hmmm.. may have to paint mine white.
  15. Likewise, used mine with a maggura, was perfect never buckled atall. Always wondered why people would have 32 hole front rims, but suppose when you think about the stresses and forces of a disc brake it may make sense.
  16. Have no personal experience myself, but know a few people who have them. They do have a tendencay to skip, think its because they've tried to squeeze to many engagment points in, resulting in a weaker freewheel. If i was you i would stick with a 72 engagment point freewheel, there more than adequete. Jamie
  17. Anyone know what make the tensioners in the first/second pic are?
  18. Amazing guy!! Huge respect for this guy, just shows what can be done with hard work.
  19. Id steer clear of any deng free hubs, there not to reliable. But fixed hus are fine, ive had a Zoo fixed hub for 6 months, no problems atall.
  20. Ha Took me ageees to work that one out.
  21. Have you thought about the 4 finger CNC levers by magura. I have these and their ace, much better than the normal 2 finger levers. The edges are slightly sharp, fine with gloves, but watch out. If your set on a deng lever, as said before, get the 08 version, much more finger friendly. Edit: just seen there more expensive than the deng ones!
  22. Cheers guys Decided to go down the BB7 route, just a few questions... N Wood: Are you saying that the old caliper is better than the new one?? Im kinda persuaded by the 08 version, anyone else notice any differences to the new caliper? Oh, and what cables do people run with their BB's? Thanks
