I run my tyres quite flat, probably less than 20psi but just start flat and find a pressure you like. It's also easier to learn on flatter tyres trust me.
Well, i ride two bikes. I have a dual disc for competitions, it has front and rear try-all brakes. And for street and some natural, front onza disc, really sharp with avid lever. and rear magura hs33 with light grind and plaz crm pads.
To be honest in a comp its better to have a shorter frame as you can fit tighter spaces. Street its just that they ride and have a streety feel if its longer. Personally i'd rather have a shortish frame for both.
