Kieran, Have you actually tried to look up how to do these and answer them yourself? You won't learn how to do them just by copying from people here, you need to practice. The formula questions that you last posted, do you understand how AndrewEH1 got the answers he did? If we set you some similar questions could you do them without outside help?

I hardly do any cardio too, just go real heavy in the gym, but I'm nowhere near as trim as when I used run as well. Just too tired these days with the new family arrival and I'd rather keep my 'numbers' in the gym so running got knocked on the head. Hate to think what shape I'd be in if I gave up the gym too - couldn't bear wasting away!

Malcom, Have you seen this video? I think you'll like it: My link

Malcom, You've lost me a bit with the aim of your post, are you after info pertaining to whetther there are any children specific clubs for trials in Europe or where do the younger lads ride? Well for bike trials I believe there are no dedicated clubs/groups here in the UK for younger riders -they comptete alongside all other ages at competitions, though there are categories for age ranges. For moto trials the situation is different (someone may like to clarify) as there are 'Schoolboy clubs' for younger rideers - these clubs sometimes hold bicycle trials. I guess it's a similar situation in Spain. Where in the US are you?

Nearly 33, don't have the nerve I used to and it takes a lot longer to recover after a ride but I still love it. Go on get back involved and selling your old bike is the perfect excuse to get onboard one of these new modern trials bikes.

Come on JD that was unwarranted and inappropriate surely? -
Run man, just run. As often and as far as you can - the weight will come off really quick - but don't eat anymore.
-
Come on JJ don't worry about if they aren't built up get some pics. You still got the Monty you used in 'Revolution'?

Amazing, keep up the support - I still had stabilisers on my bike at twice his age. -
For the OP, on your stated monthly take home I'd say that living on your own will be a big stretch if you are going to rent, a mortgage will also be tough if you don't have a sizeable deposit assuming you're going to be living in Gloucestershire. Now if you do the shared house thing you'll probably be ok, on my year out from uni my take home was similar to yours I shared a house in Reading and survived ok. It come down to your personal preference - myself I couldn't stand living at home and anyway my parents lived miles away. I've been a home owner for many years now. For those thinking of starting out on the homeownership ladder, my simple word of warning is be wary of LEASEHOLD, you will encounter this if you are buying a flat of any other property on shared land. It is important to know the terms and durations involved with the lease - if in doubt get advice.

Any Trials Riders In Swindon Or Wantage?
ellingtj replied to tom7995's topic in Member Organised Rides
Says Bishopstone on his profile- south of Shrivenham -
Yeah, sort of, Phil Williams now runs Maghull Cycles and is more focussed on day to day cycles but I believe can still deal in Echo etc. Known Phil for over 10 years and he's a really nice bloke so don't worry, just give him a call 0151 527 1537.

When And Why Did U Start Trials Riding?
ellingtj replied to pezza p's topic in Beginners Trials Chat
Saw the 'Dirt!' video at the 1995 Malverns festival and was blown away by Scott Domett, soon after started hoping around with my SPDs on my mountainbike - and the rest is history as they say. -
Just listen to what the gym staff are playing which is usually r'n'b or d'n'b (they've got a fairly heavy duty setup 4 x 15" JBL cabs with 2 x 18" JBL subs - http://www.24hrgym.co.uk/), never used headphones etc. as I need to listen out for my joints cracking - my shoulder makes some unhealthy sounds - too much weight but that's the idea no? If I work out at home then this is a fav:

I'm getting on for 33 but started in earnest at 18. What I've found over the years is that my nerve to try daring moves has diminished and the rate of progress has definitely tapered off, but I'm still a total addict.

The Pro is a good starting point but remember these bikes are built to a budget so some parts are not really up to the job. The most common problem is the bearing surfaces breaking up in the hubs especially the rear one. It would be worth obtaining this bike with a sealed bearing rear hub from the outset.

Great vibe, pretentious free vid. Great stuff, awesome riding. I feel inspired to get out.
-
Excellent like his last video, effortless trials.
-
Probably the most common problem with these Onza's, well known to the importer too who still refuses to rectify the issue.
-
I prefered the green rims.

Working the night shift, it's 5:30, I've got a cold, I'm hangover from the xmas party, I'm knackered but I still had the energy to laugh out loud over that one. Hole in the bath - a real bummer, can't really be fixed in situ, best off replacing which is usually a real chore (having done it before) especially if you cant get a bath that matches exactly. Is there tiling all the way round the bath and down the sides? This can make it real awkward to get them out if it buts up against the walls (can't see the posted image here at work).

I remember a BMW ad about this, they used an example of how animals have stronger rear legs.

Suerly much safer in there than in an awning unless you live in a totally remote location? Nice collection there regardless.

I've got a RQ 2.2 as a back tyre as the 2.4 was too big for the frame and need too much pressure to stop it folding over. I like the 2.2 as it's very grippy and lighter than the specialized I had on before. I think there are better tyres out there for a modern trials bike though.

I own zero aftershaves - not my style. Years ago I was in a bike shop where a mate was the mechanic, these students came in trying to sell aftershave, he said "I'm not interested, I use this", picked up a can of GT85 and sprayed it under both arms, the two girls looked at each other and promptly left - great comedy, but I wouldn't recommend it as a fragance.
