  1. Hey, i just put my old computer back together (bits i had lying around) anyway, when i turned it on all good until not long it just turned it self off, didn't even get to the windows screen (one that has the blue bar on service pack two). So i tried to turn it on again and it didn't even get that far, after the motherboard bleeped it turned off. If i leave it and come back to it, it will get just to the windows screen and turn its self off again, you try again and same thing happens, doesn't get very far. I don't have a clue what it could be other than a heat problem? and that the motherboard is shutting down so it don't cause any problems but i don't know. Anyway if someone could help me out id greatly appreciate it. I have msn if it would be easier to talk on their, Thanks loads in advance

  7. hey, i have a amd 3500+, 2gb ram, asus a8n sli deluxe motherboard and a radeon x1800xt graphics card, i just put 1gb more of ram in my computer and changed my card from my old asus a800xl, when i play games like insurgency (hl mod) i only get about 10 fps more than i did with my old card. I have another x1800xt but i need to get a crossfire motherboard before i can run both, i was wondering if my cpu would be slowing down my computer especially when i put my other card in to run crossfire. Thanks in advance.

Anyway since i bought my new monitor, games have been crisper and clearer but i haven't had as much fps (obviously bigger monitor more strain on the graphics card) some games like c+c 3 was pretty jerky, anyway i have a ax800xl graphics card and i wanted to know if i bought a new processor would that speed things up a bit on my games?
