ok theres this bit of metal in the rim, at the weld it moves back and forwards :huh: a big bit! I THINK its tehre to strenghten the weld but i dunno, it shouldn't move (Y)

Hello, I just build my new wheel (Hope Bulb 20mm on Sun Double Track) Anyway, i put it in my trueing stand to do it (After lacing it) spin the wheel and theres a noise as though there is a spoke nipple inside the rim. I know its not a spoke nipple becasue sometimes it wont do it others it will, ive shook the wheel countless times and its not a spoke nipple, anyone have any ideas?! (maybe one for Tart :huh:) Thanks in advanced, Jake

Sam just leave it and wait for your other rim, if you do what your planning on doing that its gonna have a mjor weak spot in your rim, plus its gonna cost you more in the long run to get the rim buildt again, just leave it and get another rim :lol:
