  1. Rubbish! you'll need to be careful when building the wheel back up as it may scratch fairly easily but beyond that it'll, be fine. As has been said just key the surface first.
  2. Are there any pics of Bill's dead Mustang? Very good write up and having watched Nick's and a few other Ring crash videos I don't think I'll be going any time soon, especially not on the bike!!
  3. Matty Turner on that mini Inspired looks truly awesome! Nice pics as usual Joe.
  4. Although a realistic fix of sorts, you shouldn't have to think about going to the effort and expense of doing it to a brand new frame surely?
  5. The guy was probably the CEO of Wonga.com. When Prawn reads the small print of his IOU it will state the effective interest rate of 4214%.
  6. JJ's sections in that were the reason I went to 20"- he was my hero for a long time!!
  7. Anthony Reid's run in the Chevron GT3 was pretty nuts. I think he actually touched the flint wall. Struggling to find the footage of it though.
  8. Surely although no opinion can be wrong (i.e. it's your opinion so it just is) the statement can be factually wrong and therefore false, as proved by Ali. And Christians.
  9. Computer says no. f**king music industry...
  10. I don't think he's shit, far from it but his 'style' just goes right over my head. Jeff in some of his early videos (so long ago I've forgotten the name... pre Revolution) is still impressive today and even for a big guy he always looked smooth. Ryan could do the moves but everything looked forced (in Revolution and Evolve for example) and the Manifesto thing I really didn't get because his normally forced riding then looked even more forced. Innovative, yes. Impressive, kinda. Smooth and stylish, not really. Just to be clear, I don't think he's ever actually made that claim, that was just me exaggerating.
  11. I've seen more damaged cars on the way to work! In fact a guy up my street has a Mondeo estate which appears to be crashed almost weekly and is held together mostly with gaffer tape! Looks a hell of a lot better than I'd expected but obviously there's plenty under the skin that's not quite so rosey...
  12. He lands drops like a sack o' potatoes!! To be honest I've never really rated him myself... Jeff Lenosky has always been far better to watch in my opinion and Ryan's strange way at looking at riding (fairly sure he's of the opinion that bike trials can solve world hunger/peace if you just give it a chance) is just plain weird. I guess he's been innovative and imaginative with his riding but the execution just seems to always be lacking.
  13. Interested to hear how much 28m of armco and 5 uprights cost... I have a feeling it ain't cheap!
  14. Has he said if it was driver error or a blowout/mechanical? Definitely looks like brown trouser time...
  15. Soooo, Trialtech carbon bars eh?
  16. Only time I've had something like you've described it was when my freewheel was catching my BB cup. A bit of grinding was required to aid clearance but if you're running a Pro2 I doubt that's the issue. If you loosen the chain off does it still happen? Could be the tight spot in your drivetrain stopping things if the chain becomes super tight at that position...
  17. The angle your helmet's at relative to your body after hitting the barriers does not look healthy! Looks rather expensive too...
  18. Provided it's just residual oil then it'll burn itself out and clear through. Keep an eye on the oil level and also if it keeps doing it after a few minutes there could be a bigger problem.
  19. Wouldn't work on TV though. Well done for getting through to the final three and unlucky not to take the win but I'm sure the exposure will only help to promote the team.
  20. I wouldn't have thought 45 degrees would be enough for the oil to get up into the cylinder. I'm sure it'll be fine though!
  21. Oil being shaken around shouldn't allow oil into the cylinder though to make it run smokey... Actually, when the strap snapped did the bike end up on it's side for a little while? That could explain it. I go my frame welded on Thursday and managed to get the bike all back together yesterday. Now seems to be back running fine and back as it should be, just need for it to stop frickin' raining now!!
  22. It's free to pay for stuff but you should be charged fees if you're receiving payments.
  23. No, you didn't. Annnyway.. bars look good, seem to be very well thought out with all the bases covered, as I've come to expect from Trialtech. Well out of my price bracket though!
