Is it wrong that since 9/11 I do have a dislike/distrust/general lack of respect for the Muslim faith? It's pretty well known that I dislike religion as a whole but there's a real anger that wells up inside me when I see stuff like this where these nutters are doing things as god's will. If I see a Muslim in the airport or on the tube I do look twice. It seems to me that their beliefs are stuck in a time centuries in the past- their treatment of women, laws etc. When a mother is willing to murder her own daughter by burning her with acid because she may have looked at a boy passing on a moped there is something seriously, seriously wrong. See I'd agree with Jeff Lenosky, Martyn Ashton, Hans Rey etc. but Ryan's always been an 'also ran' in my book, much like Martin Hawyes. Good riders but just nothing special. In the days of Revolution etc. I'd much rather watch Lenosky, Gregorowicz or Martin Kelivard than Ryan. I know he's contributed a lot to the bigger picture of trials but I still dislike his style!! I only do it in every thread because I've forgotten how much he makes me cringe when I watch his vids!

Not landing like a pile of crap from pretty much any height. See that does nothing for me either. Again landing like a sack of spuds doing nothing all that impressive. He's got excellent control and manual skills but overall I just don't rate him. Edit: That Ride to the Hills segment is definitely one of his better ones. I guess part of it is that good riders make things look effortless/easy whereas whenever I see him ride he makes everything look like a struggle even when it's only some backhops across small gaps.

I just don't like his riding... That video did absolutely nothing for me- not smooth, not impressive. Showed good control but that's about it. Would've been acceptable about 15 years ago but that was just... meh.

For a very reasonable sum, plus a cheap Onza stem I've got my hoppy bike and still have the Team frame to go back to if/when I fancy.
