I'm afraid I reckon you're in the minority. I know it's a hyped up american show but I thought the idea of it was quite clever and almost believable but the characters and acting really make it work and once I started watching I had to keep going until the end to find out what happened.
I wouldn't have thought it would be covered by insurance but always worth checking. Not unless you can pretend the issue has been caused by recent bad weather or something... How major is the remedial work going to be?
I know that feeling. The Skye is a really nice bike and really well thought out but isn't for everyone. The benefits of things like the bolt through axles don't really make much difference for 99% of people but then again if he seriously is going to take £700 for it then it's a serious bargain and you'd easily get your money back if you decided not to stick with it and sell it on with a proper ad that doesn't make it look stolen!!
I reckon you'd feel cramped on the Skye... That was one of the main reasons I got rid of mine- they're awesome bikes but designed for Danny who's about 5' 6" and for any normal sized person (I'm about 5' 10"/11" or so) it's seriously short!
Well I paid £1200 for the complete one from Dave and although I possibly paid a little over the odds (these things were like hens teeth until the Arcade came out so I jumped on it when I could) that looks almost new so he should be asking for over £1000 and more likely £1200+ for it...
Nah, it's not his (well the pictures might be but the bike, if it exists, won't be)- I bought that and have since sold the frame kit to a dude in Poland.
I dunno, cycle speedway is super gay and unbelievably cringeworthy to watch but as Mark says it is a 'thing' in its own right whereas CX (is that an approved abbreviation or did I just make it up?) is just deliberately using totally the wrong bike for what you need.
To be fair to him cyclocross is probably the stupidest most pointless element of biking out there (and yes I am including trials in that list) so he was up against it trying to make it not look stupid and pointless.
Ricciardo disqualified for fuel flow sensor irregularities. The sensors have been very problematic though so it wouldn't surprise me if Red Bull can defend their case.
Just to add my 2p I rented for a good few years (paying ~£650 per month) before buying a £198k 3 bed house back in 2010. Mortaged for £168k with repayments of ~£1150 per month (20 year mortgage). Probably couldn't do it on my own salary alone but with my wife's income as well it's fairly easy.
