  1. It's just with perspective included, as in drawn with a vanishing point. Other point of note in the elevation it looks like the sides aren't parallel- is that the case or is that also just perspective?
  2. Where do you chaps run the cable/mount the battery pack on these. Mine has a serious abundance of cable and the single velcro strap on the battery pack doesn't really keep it in place...
  3. When the friend receives his Rolls it also won't have +10 degree camber, 13" wheels off a mini or mismatched seats...
  4. Ah fair enough. I know there are a few different versions out there and if you ever get into the workings of it there's nothing stopping you drilling another hole in the telescoping tube to give you the third position. It's not the prettiest thing in the world but I really can't fault mine either, especially for £45!
  5. This is the lockout lever I used as well if it's of any interest.
  6. Unless that's a 'proper' Gravity Dropper post it looks very similar to my cheapo Tmars dropper that cost about £45 (http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/161172390535) and has three heights, 110mm down, 55mm down and up and is cable actuated with a simple pin that's released by the lever and seems to work just fine. The lever they come with is a fairly clumsy big omnidirection thing that feels anything but positive so I used a Suntour fork lockout unit that I didn't need to replace it which gives a far nicer feel and is nice and minimalist on the bars. Similar procedure shown here: http://goatshell.blogspot.co.uk/2014/03/origin8-tmars-dropper-seatpost-1st_3.html though I've used a little barrel lock thing with grub screws to finish the cable (possibly from an old Magura HS33 mounting kit?) which is nicer than the ugly solution that dude's used.
  7. How do you find the seat post? I see no reason to spend £300 when for £60 you can get something nearly as good that doesn't need servicing and bled every 5 minutes! I've always run mine with a Suntour lock out lever as the stock thing seemed a bit... shit.
  8. And now Marussia have gone into administration too... http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-oxfordshire-29784602
  9. If you sign up to Koo Bikes' mail shot thing you get a £5 voucher which may be of interest to you. Just got two Spoons from them, one for the 456 and one for my Ribble.
  10. Been using any funky chemicals/paints in the house Rowan? If not see a doctor!
  11. Are the letters all official notifications from the local police force? Note for the cameras that your ped obviously only has a plate on the back (and also that flashy Gatso cameras don't get you if you're going towards them but Truvelos do (but couldn't catch your numberplate))... Edit: Should also point out that for mobile van type traps they should have signs indicating their presence prior to the location. Not all forces seem to do that though.
  12. This is for BMX videos not gay ass trials riders
  13. But 536g? I'm far from a weight weenie but when I can get 370g MG-1s for £16 I'm hard pushed to get V12's for 2-3 times the amount that are a good bit heavier.
  14. Was just on my way to ask about these... Saints are probably overkill and a bit heavy, electrons look interesting (as do those hooky MG-1s!). But cost nearly as much as the 456 frame... no thanks! Reckon £40 would be the limit.
  15. So having changed to the 456 Evo2 I reckon it'd suit flat pedals rather than the SPD's I've been running for a while. In the past I've gone straight down the Wellgo MG-1 from eBay route for ~£21 odd but just wondering what people's thoughts are on alternatives. Found the FG-1's online which are the skinny style version and have looked at the Superstar site but am open to suggestions.
  16. Good call. Very good watch.
  17. Padded shorts are designed to do a job and protect certain areas. Wearing boxers or whatever adds seams and pressure points which means the padded shorts can't do their thing properly.
  18. Frame arrived this afternoon and is happily built up in the garage
  19. On the back of this I just accidentally a 456 Evo to put all my Meta parts onto... damn you temptation, damn you.
