  1. Yeah does look like excessive friction at the pivot...
  2. Doesn't sound like he's very good on it to be honest. Maybe safer if he didn't
  3. Congrats fella! Queen of the underworld though? Unusual choice!
  4. Probably an mot failure. Realistically though so long as it doesn't rub badly enough that the rotor gets hot and boils the fluid or threatens to lock the wheel I doubt it'll be any real issue.
  5. Something's definitely not right there. The squelch will be some air in the system so the question is how to bleed it so that you remove all the air. How are you bleeding it? How long have you had the brake? Possible to take out back to where you got it?
  6. With a code? Couldn't see anything sorting about it on the website.
  7. It's also not the first suspended (is that the right word?) trials bike.
  8. Awesome work- looks like so much fun! Proper jealous of you guys. Loving Ali's hop through the statue thing in BCN- simple things!
  9. I'm running Shimano SLX with the standard bb and had to run the 2 standard spacers plus another I think 0.75mm one and also filed down the chainring bosses slightly to make sure I had enough clearance. You definitely want to maximise the thread contact of the bb.
  10. We put down £30k on ours with about 20 of that coming from Mel (she was working/saving for the four years I was doing my postgrad and also had a good chunk from 25 odd years of grand parents pocket money). Meant we could put down 15% and get a slightly better rate (lol...).
  11. You can't really stall an aircraft engine. Aircraft stall relates to the wings themselves reaching stall which means the flow separates and lift suddenly reduces. At least he didn't fly it into a village/town/city/big ass building which could've taken out hundreds or thousands of others.
  12. What a thundercunt that co-pilot was.
  13. 'Tis good there. Some really nice flowy trails they've put in.
  14. The pictures on the Racingline website seems to show a slight step (in the right direction)- is that a 'new' version or is that like what you've got? Either way I''d be speaking to Tarty if that's where you got it rather than getting bits from Stepbike.
  15. If you can get the freewheel off you could modify the bash to add clearance (mill, lathe, angle grinder etc.) but you shouldn't have to. I'd give Tarty a ring tomorrow and see what they say. If it's a real problem with the design they should be able to sort something out.
  16. Sounds like they're saying it's the Racingline bash that's the problem not the freewheel. Most bashrings have a slightly wider base and taper down to clear freewheels but it looks like Racingline didn't think that was worth bothering with...
  17. I take it you're running the bash the right way round? It has a machined step that should face the outside.
  18. Wife and kids are somewhere up near Thurso so I have a weekend to myself with the bikes (and the weather looks good!). I win!
  19. Animal Sprocky Balboa's are only £10.99 on CRC: http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/s?q=animal+bikes+sprocky+balboa+sprocket&cat=product though obviously not with a bash. Freeflow are showing the inspired ring/guard as 'in stock with supplier- allow 3-5 days' but I'm not sure if that's true or just a place filler...
  20. Manor F1 make me angry. Apparently they're only going to pay creditors 1.26p in the pound for all outstanding debts (£60M+) and Bernie reckons they had absolutely no chance in hell of ever competing in Oz. Bunch of crooks if you ask me. You can guarantee none of the top brass are going to lose out after making an utter balls up of everything.
