  1. Could you not take some meat off of the rotor mount on the hub (possibly helicoil it to retain confidence in the threads) or is the offset required too much?
  2. Just watched the MotoGP from last weekend and very pleased to see Rossi get another win. Although I don't like seeing Marc go down it should make things a bit more interesting points-wise for the next few races.
  3. If you're not fussed about performance I've been really quite impressed with my 1.3 CDTi Astra estate. Plenty of space, good on fuel and cheap to tax etc. I'd love to have an Astra (H) van (the Sportive's look pretty cool standard and with a few tweaks look sweet but I need the doors and seats for kids and general family shizzle.
  4. Mike Escamilla in 2002ish: https://youtu.be/3nA4mxlM9eU?t=5m12s
  5. Such solid precise riding- looks like everything is nailed first time and really consistent (though that's just a feeling, each shot may have taken 1000 shots but I doubt it!).
  6. Fackinell. Incredible stuff
  7. Post the picture in here if you can though as I'd be interested in seeing it! Does the dealer think they are all cracked or just paint split?
  8. If anything the 610 should be stronger (and lighter) because the pins are shorter hence less moment arm and mass. Z610HX all the way.
  9. I do want to strangle Lewis with one of his gold chains when I see him looking like an anorexic Mr T...
  10. Should be basically the same. I stick the bike in the lowest gear and then set the length so the mech is being pulled up towards the frame a reasonable but not excessive amount. One thing to remember if you're doing it on a full sus bike (which I only learned the hard way when going to 1x10) is to let the air out of the shock and fully compress the suspension to ensure you cover the 'worst case'.
  11. Very disappointed that hasmaldonadocrashedtoday.com didn't class any of Pastor's incidents in China as a 'crash'...
  12. I can't believe there've been 7. I lost interest half way through 2 and haven't seen any of the others. The whole thing is supposed to revolve around cars but car scenes (that I've seen) always seem to be laughable and just plain annoying.
  13. Nah, I think it was pretty shit on all levels to be fair.
  14. 0:22-0:35... Seriously? I know I've never been much of a fan of Ryan but that was bloody appalling. His yoga doesn't appear to be helping much.
  15. Yeah does look like excessive friction at the pivot...
  16. Doesn't sound like he's very good on it to be honest. Maybe safer if he didn't
  17. Congrats fella! Queen of the underworld though? Unusual choice!
  18. Probably an mot failure. Realistically though so long as it doesn't rub badly enough that the rotor gets hot and boils the fluid or threatens to lock the wheel I doubt it'll be any real issue.
  19. Something's definitely not right there. The squelch will be some air in the system so the question is how to bleed it so that you remove all the air. How are you bleeding it? How long have you had the brake? Possible to take out back to where you got it?
  20. With a code? Couldn't see anything sorting about it on the website.
  21. It's also not the first suspended (is that the right word?) trials bike.
  22. Awesome work- looks like so much fun! Proper jealous of you guys. Loving Ali's hop through the statue thing in BCN- simple things!
  23. I'm running Shimano SLX with the standard bb and had to run the 2 standard spacers plus another I think 0.75mm one and also filed down the chainring bosses slightly to make sure I had enough clearance. You definitely want to maximise the thread contact of the bb.
