  1. One of me crept in I see fletch!! You're a nutter dude, just need to work on your consistency :-" ! Look forward to seeing the vid... Dave
  2. I know this isn't very useful but I wouldn't bother with EBC reds. I tried some on my Hayes and they worked ok for about a week then fell apart. As far as disc brakes go, I've always found the manufacturers own are always the best. Get some Hope replacements and save some £'s. Dave
  3. I love the really poorly fitted oil coolers (Y) There are some major retards in this world!! Dave
  4. It's my brithday too today (Y) Do you know we share our birthday with Adolf Hitler? Interesting fact that... Dave
  5. D'oh, sorry guys I've just realised I'd already agreed to do something on the Sunday so won't be able to make it :P Have a good one Dave
  6. Interesting choice of music there Matt... :P" Still got the Python but finding so much more confidence riding big wheeled bikes! Dave
  7. Now you need to convince Dan to leave Hellfrauds too! Should be a good ride if the weathers ok. Dave
  8. Nobody got any more pics vids from the ride? Chris (the photographer with the mahusive lenses) has processed the pics and sounds really happy with them. He's posting them to me today so will try scan them in and put them up when I get the chance. Dave
  9. It's hardly anything on 26 or 24 but on mod 25psi at the rear feels solid as you like so 20psi isn't too bad. I'm sure sam wheeler runs around 10psi... Dave
  10. The boy's a legend and the Kot looks awesome! Anyway, I'm off to practice my UCIness now! :o Dave
  11. They came on my T-Rex and to be honest still seemed too soft to be used with a grind. Rather than gripping the rim they wore down really quickly and left a lovely red powder over everything! Reckon they'd be really good on smooth rims- They worked great on my chrome BMX rim ! Dave
  12. I told you it was a bit of a meaty ol' tube! Beggars can't be choosers!! Looking forward to seeing any vids or pics taken on the day (N) Dave
  13. A lot of people would say that riding silly bikes over obstacles is shit and pointless too...and they'd be right. That's what those guys do, leave them to it! I personally find no thrill in drag racing, but incredible feats like Richard Noble's Thrust SSC car which broke the sound barrier to me is brilliant, when people told him it was impossible he fought and went ahead with it. There was a lot more to that project than a hunk of metal going fast. Dave
  14. Don't forget Mr McCaw that you owe me a supersize BK or similar next time I see you ;) Dave
  15. Was that Chris? South African accent... I met him in London before and he took loads of pics and sent them to me after getting them processed. He's going to do the same again. Unfortunately it's not a digital camera so I'll pick some of the best and scan them in to post on T-F. Will keep you posted. Dave
  16. I'll be up for that definately. Getting some new found confidence after London yesterday  Dave
  17. Hehe, that was VERY scary for a second there! I'm quite glad James (666ers) made us move on cos it was going to go wrong somewhen! Littleharrys- my computer won't let me in to see the pics...is it just me? Laters peeps Dave aka 'Action Man' :( (Y) :P
  18. Was a really awesome day. Some really good riding going on. Good to see everyone again- including Craig Johnson who I never knew still rode! Still some lines I need to do next time though. Hope to see some footage of today as there was some crazy stuff happening. Good to meet Adam and Dave too (Y) Dave Marshall (Red Onza T-rex with tribal graphics  )
  19. Best way I've found is leaving the tyre on the wheel, lock the cog in a vice then get a friend and grab the wheel and unscrew. I tried so many things last time and that's what finally did it in the end >_< Dave
  20. I'm very tempted...Looks like being a good one provided the weathers fine. Dave
  21. Any chance of someone shacking it? I wanna see it!! Dave
  22. You need to be at an angle to the wall to start with, with your good foot furthest away so you can get the bike and rear wheel as tight into the wall as you can. Then it's all about compressing your body and rear tyres slightly before exploding upwards. For bigger swaps it is as much brute strength as technique. Once you've jumped upwards, you need to throw the bike up and in front of you (as you would to back wheel) and place the rear tyre on the wall. I think that's how I do it anyway... Dave
  23. Haha, no one told me that! I was rock climbing and paintballing in a cast after I broke my wrist... Can't say I did much riding though. Dave
