  1. Whatever happened to the Plazmatic rim coatings they used to do? Did no one ever bodge a copy of that?!
  2. Estimates are that the Black Hole at the centre of our galaxy has a mass around 3.7 million times that of our sun... That's based on the amount of matter which is caught in it's gravitational pull. Quite large really.
  3. Yeah, sounds like your instructor's a bit of a w@nker... That would bug me soooooo much! Asking for an accident from the sounds of it.
  4. It has yet to be proved for sure but most astronomers believe that's the case... although the Sun doesn't really orbit the black hole, our solar system and millions of other planets/stars etc are all orbiting round the hole which is at the centre of our galaxy (the Milky Way).
  5. Agreed. Great frames for the money. Get one. Get several.
  6. Madeline was the oldest there (4? years old), who was in the room with her 2? year old twin brother/sister. No WAY should kids that young EVER be left alone anywhere!! Edit: and yeah, three kids in the room, two much smaller and only one was 'taken'. Or she could've just walked out but then she'd have been found
  7. Especially seeing as they're bloody doctors!! Come on people... how stupid are they?! I also read in the papers at the weekend that they may have regularly sedated the kids to keep them sleeping while they went out in the evenings... seriously not right.
  8. No, that's the picture I saw but I can't make out what class that was he won... Go Stuart!!
  9. I've thought from the start that it was very very dodgy. Even if she was kidnapped, the parents need dragged into the street and beaten for leaving their 3 children alone in a hotel room in a foreign country in the first place!! The whole thing didn't seem right. Then they went on a 100 day holiday to meet the pope, raising over £1000000 in donations and selling frickin' "Find Madeline" wrist bands! Then when a paper starts looking too closely at them they threaten to sue?! I mean, ffs, you have a child missing, the LAST thing they should be thinking of is sueing a damn newspaper for calling tehm suspects!! From that report though it looks like they are going to go down for it... if they don't commit suicide and kill their other two kids before that can happen... Too wierd
  10. Haha, James and Joe looking mighty impressed there!! Also, what class did Stuart Matthews win?! Quite a showing for the brits.
  11. Hi Tim, cheers for the info. Can I ask you how the BB's compare to something like an Echo or Try-All BB? The Moe is a good bit cheaper than either of these and seems to include neat design features which actually makes the Moe a better bet... Cheers, Dave Marshall
  12. Has anyone got one of these BB's? Looks very good for the money. I take it they'll work with a front freewheel? Cheers, Dave
  13. Or maybe I won't be getting ZOO bars... Just got back from the Hampshire trial and the newer zoo 'riser' bars are nigh on flat. Think I'll be going for either Onza Carbon 28"'s or their alloy version cut down.
  14. Yeah I know but I'm not sponsored by Supercycles!
  15. Cool, cheers for that. Haven't heard that before for some reason. Reckon I'll be getting Zoo bars if Tarty can't get 28" carbons for me...
  16. I know I'm gonna feel really stupid when I get the answer but... what's TGS?
  17. Jebus, them's damn good results! Well done boys! Dave
  18. So what would you recommend? Bearing in mind the Zoot is a 24 aimed towards the odd bit of real trials as well as streety stuff?
  19. Hey dude, when people talk about risers they're talking about riser handlebars. Trials bars tend to be either flat or riser, the riser ones bending up between the stem and the grip area to give a bit of rise (hence the name!). Spacers are headset spacers which you put between the top of your headset and the stem to raise the whole stem/bar assembly up. As for your headset, I doubt there's any benefit from changing it other than to change the colour . Reckon mine will be going black when I get it... Dave
  20. Yep, OK, I've just looked at OBM's ENO topic in the FAQ's and the circlip only keeps the bearing in place. I've had mine apart a couple of times and have always got to the 'guts' by removing the bearing rather than just ripping the whole drive shell off. Sorry for doubting!
  21. I used to run Onza Carbon's on my T-Rex, then on my Adamant A1 and am now riding a Monty 221Pr and am using another set of them. Really nice bars and I love the feel. I've always used the 28" ones and am perfectly happy with the width but 30" is still perfectly acceptable.
  22. Sounds like ventricular ectopic beats... can be caused by stress among other things and are completely harmless in themselves but you should get it checked out by your GP just to be safe.
  23. On open bearing freewheels that's true- ACS, tensile etc but because the ENO uses sealed cartridge bearings, the bearings themselves are held in place by a circlip, and the lockring doesn't preload the mechanism or bearings at all. That's my take on the matter anyway.
  24. Hmm... That limits it to something like the System Ex or Simtra stems... Will be in touch soon Ads!! Dave
  25. Hey dude, I've just bought a zoot (well, it'll be on its way soon) and is pretty much stock atm. My plan is to change the cranks, BB, rear hub, front brake, bars and stem. I was looking at the FSA OS170 100mmx6deg stem and maybe the Onza Alloy risers cut down a bit... Can't wait
