  1. At present Inspired have just released the Fourplay frame. I think there may well be other products in the future but for now it's just the frame. The first limited batch sold out in about 2 days and the next big shipment is due in in the next few weeks. I don't think there will be an Inspired complete bike available but Tarty will be more than happy to custom build one to your spec. Dave
  2. I think the full build in one go would retail at around £1000... So not exactly cheap, but built over a bit of time it's not too bad. I bought the Zoot for £350 and upgraded a load of bits then changed some more bits before changing to the Inspired frame. Got on really well with the Zoot- it's a really under rated bike. With a few minor changes it was set up as a really good street trials rig. Only just got the Inspired but so far so good is all I can say. Just have a look at Danny Mac to see what's possible on a 24"! Dave
  3. Umm... I think that's what he wants advice on... excellent post there You know you want one
  4. Bike looks aweful IMO and brakeless trials sounds like a swear word (phrase?) to me!! Will be interesting to see what he comes up with though...
  5. I had a Macneil slim on my BMX but didn't really like it, kinda wished I'd gone for something a little more padded and comfy. Also all the damn pivotal stump posts are only available in 25.4mm... DMR (rebadged Macneil) and Macneil standard are the only ones that offer 27.2 but you can't properly slam them. Will change the saddle eventually but need to track down the right one first. Dave
  6. That boy is simply insane! Love it!! Can't wait for the full vid You seem to have missed the link for the high quality versions (I may just be being blind...) so for everyone else check out Inspired Bicycles and navigate to the media section . Dave
  7. But it's not big enough to support a pure trials shop when people can buy stuff from Tarty and have it delivered the next day (usually!). I also don't really see any advantage to having a shop to visit. Most components can be purchased without problem online without seeing it in person. Just doesn't seem financially viable...
  8. Good luck but I doubt you'll be able to take much trade away from TartyBikes/Select etc. Hard to improve on perfection Ok, so I'm not exactly unbiased but still...
  9. Cool. I'll give you sixty quid for it, yeah? lol To be honest, the weather's been so bad I haven't had a chance to ride it properly yet. First impressions are that it's fairly similar to the Zoot but more stable for manuals 'cos of the slightly longer back end. Will update when I've had a proper chance to ride it! I'll probably eventually get a 'proper' seat like a Shadow Conspiracy or Fit but will ride it as is for now. Dave
  10. What motorbike do you have? Make sure to post that up when it's done- you have a real talent from the looks of things!
  11. Chain reaction say 'hollow composite alloy' rails and 'carbonite composite carbon shell'... It doesn't look like proper carbon fibre though (and that would be a bitch to lay up!) so your guess is as good as mine to what it's really made of! 140g though is pretty light... Dave
  12. Looks like a grand day out! You were rather lucky with the weather, especially considering what it was like at Bransgore on the Sunday... Congratulations on succeeding where most people can't be arsed! You, Andrei and everyone should be very proud of what you're achieving. Dave
  13. Just an idea... what about comments for vids? Like in the gallery you can add comments, maybe the same for uploaded vids? Or is that what the video forum's for?...
  14. I used to lock the freewheel tool onto the crank with like a g-clamp type thing then put a big spanner on the tool but at an angle so that you make a wide angle V between the crank arm and the spanner. Place the assembly on the floor with the point of the v (the freewheel) raised off the floor and STAMP on the freewheel! Make sure you have some tough soled shoes on and it should work. Always did for me anyway...
  15. Look in the Yellow Pages for printing shops or similar. There should be loads around, wherever you are. I'm too good to you...
  16. I know... I think the only things left from the Zoot are the front wheel, rear brake pads and rear rim/spokes :$ Ah well money to burn and all that! Is that the Spyder saddle you're talking about? Hadn't come across that before you mentioned it... edit: £60!!! Maybe not...! Dave
  17. Have you ridden a well set up Zoot? Mine road like an absolute beast! Rather than being a big wheeled BMX it allows a far more 'trialsy' feel to the bike which, being a trials rider, suited me down to the ground! Could out backwheel and sidehop most peeps and still play around with spinny stuff. The Inspired has similar geometry to the Zoot which should work out just right for me. Only problem I'm having is with the tensioner- Because the chainstays are slightly longer I had to add an extra link to the chain and the extra leverage seems to be making the tensioner slacken off regularly. Going to get a nice harsh serrated washer from the wind tunnel tomorrow and see how that goes. Dave
  18. The seat's actually one of the Selle Italia plastic ones that Pashley used to sell back in the days of the 26Mhz. Still going strong! Was quite tempted to change it for a Shadow Consipracy slim or maybe an urban camo Funn... We'll see. Cheers for the comments guys, haven't actually ridden it yet so will update once I've had a play! Dave
  19. Nope, no luck. Ah well, cheers for trying! And damn you for being able to upload your test.mpeg...
  20. I'm currently running 18/13 which is harder than my proper trials bike (Monty 20") but feels about right for trialsy moves as well as allowing you to get moving a bit when needed. Dave edit: that's with 160mm cranks mind you.
  21. Ok, so I may have to go on a ride with Danny Mac and offer to have his babies. I know it's a physical impossibility but a guy can dream!! Excellent vid and well worth the money. Many thanks! Dave
