  1. £799 complete... Bargainous. As for dual disc, I reckon it's the way forward when it comes to natural comps (especially when things get wet and muddy), less so for street.
  2. If you get the front wheel onto the planks and put the front brake on you can move the planks and rollers around. I got the long second plank wedged to make a ramp and flew to the finish... more luck than judgement though!
  3. Cadbury's Gorilla... The Sony Bravia Adverts rock too... And Irn Bru just kicks ass because it's Irn Bru
  4. Feel free to make a new thread for it if you like, I wasn't sure if it deserved a new one when there are games threads around.
  5. Another trials game, quite neatly done in 3D with front and rear brakes. Physics are quite cool too in places. Good for messing about on for half an hour Click You need to download it and it runs through Java.
  6. Slick = good. i.e. superior to normal cables at not much premium. Pretty much any BMX shop in the country. Try custom riders, alans bmx, pijin, cyclesport ltd, winstanleys bmx etc etc. Usually about £6-£7. Dave
  7. Harder or easier than what? What were you previously running? If you had an 18T freewheel on the cranks before then going to a 16T will make the gearing a good bit lower (more spinny).
  8. T-cut works too if you have any of that lying around for your car...
  9. Yeah, I'd say it looks a bit... wrong... You should be able to have good control on the backwheel with your current posture but you seem to be struggling to throw yourself into moves because you're already so far forwards. Just play around with lowering the front wheel/dropping your butt and see how it goes.
  10. Good find... some nasty and some quite retarded bails in there! Even our very own Karsonleveret (Rich Pearson) is in there!
  11. Everyone's giving gay a negative connotation here... clearly the kid must have meant it in the positive sense: Gay– adjective 1. having or showing a merry, lively mood: gay spirits; gay music. 2. bright or showy: gay colors; gay ornaments. 3. given to or abounding in social or other pleasures: a gay social season. Good luck whatever you're riding now Sam
  12. To be honest, you must've done something wrong to screw up ISIS splines... They may distort a little over time but should be almost impossible to truly destroy. I'm running the Echo Forged's on my Inspired and really like them. TryAll's will be no different in spline quality and I expect the material is virtually identical. Anyway, hope you don't snap the Tensiles, Chigs...
  13. Haha, that was my third guess... tis a bit of a monster! Actually, as Bigman says, it does remind me of what used to come on the Bighits.
  14. My money's on a Halo Ception... or maybe a Nokian Gazza?
  15. Gotta have somewhere to put a seat-clamp though...
  16. Looks good mate. Obviously not as nice as mine but close!! What seat you gonna put on it? Dave
  17. Looks like it should be run with 24" wheels... Just looks kinda wrong as it is.
  18. Yeah, I've seen the DMR and Macneil themselves do their standard post in 27.2, but proper stumpy's aren't yet available. I'd rather wait and get a proper one than spend £25 and then start hacking at it to make it into a bodged stumpy. The '08 SL's are pretty sweet too though, both the all black and all white are rather noice... would also like to see what an Animal Bikes pivotal looks like in the flesh...
  19. No worries. Basically to run an 18T freewheel on the rear hub, you'd need to be running a 27T on the cranks to get the same gearing as a standard 18/12 setup. Dave
  20. However, as far as I'm aware, there are currently no manufacturers making stump pivotal posts in 27.2... and I'd rather wait to do it properly than fanny round with shims... Plus, you're soooo behind the times OBM- those are last years SL saddles. Damn, man, keep with the times Dave
  21. No no no no no. Think about it... If you put a 12T on the cranks and ran an 18T freewheel on the back (which I think is what you're getting at), the gearing would be so easy you would actually go nowhere. The only way of doing it is to get the freewheel off your cranks and onto the Echo's. Or, if it's just a cheap ACS or something just buy a new freewheel at the same time. Dave
  22. Money on it's way, Nick. Also, can I ask whether Paypal are stealing their usual 2.5%+20p or whatever it is from all donations?... If so it would probably make sense for people to send money by cheque or direct bank transfer if possible. Just a thought. Dave
  23. Oh my god! What a brilliant idea!! You mean you could just add songs just like that, I mean, wow. Now why the fcuk didn't iCharlie's beloved Apple think of that?! Dave P.S. That's in no way a sarcastic dig at Haz for what you've written, just me wondering why the hell Apple have to be so retarded.
