  1. To be fair, his left foot was kinda just on the pedal... If I did that at a local comp I'd have blagged it and carried on!
  2. Yeah, that's the conclusion I've come to. Even if the Conservatives still win my seat if the majority is reduced and the gap is closed then it can only be a good thing.
  3. Not much help really but I nearly went down the Canyon Spectral Al 5.0 route before getting my Whyte but wasn't impressed with the response I got from their online help (they basically opened the website and copied and pasted what I could already see rather than answer my question) and the lead times to get a bike in a certain colourway put me off. Most people seem to be very happy wiht them but I chickened out in the end.
  4. I'm afraid this is a cycle trials forum so you won't ge too much help here, best to try http://www.trialscentral.com/. Having said that quite a few of us either used to or currently do ride mototrials so can help with bits and pieces. In terms of maintenance the primary things are regularly changing the oil, checking and cleaning the air filter, changing the plug occasionally keeping the chain in good nick and generally checking things like coolant (if it's water cooled), brake pads, chain tension, tyre pressure, head bearings etc. every so often. All in all they're pretty low maintenance though!
  5. That's one issue for me... I voted Conservative at the last election because David Cameron seemed less of a tool than Ed Miliband but now the Conservatives seem to be a bunch of complete c**ts and May looks like a witch. I kinda like Jeremy Corbyn but our area is very strong Conservative so to be honest there's very little point voting anyway! I think at the last election Conservatives got like 30,000 votes to 9,000 odd for Lib Dems who came 2nd (I think). It just all seems like a massive mess to me!
  6. All that thread showing on top of the carb doesn't look right to me... Surely that should be threaded in probably with a locknut of some sort and then the cable adjustment should just be on the adjuster at the top of the cable? The issues sound like they're related to the cable length and tension.
  7. Can you list some of the 80% things that you've said would come to pass that you've been right about? I can't think of anything sensible you've posted in the past 10 years...
  8. That looks surprisingly 'right'! Crank length would be the only obvious issue with that BB height and those wheels. And those tyres.
  9. Ribble roadie, khe bmx, arcade, echo 20, on one 26 hard tail, Whyte t130 full susser... Think that's it for now.
  10. Unless something goes wrong...
  11. I think the main problem is acting like a condescending twat while talking utter bollocks in a poor attempt at English. Sure intelligence shouldn't be referenced against spelling and grammar but you've got to see that having poor grammar and spelling for one indicates that maybe someone who could've done gooder at school and therefore potentially has gained most of their information from the internet. It also makes it hard for anyone to really read what you're trying to get across and when every sentence/random outburst ends in an exclamation mark it reduces what you're trying to say to an inane rant.
  12. So you rode into a parked car?!
  13. Too much green? Maybe! Brand-X dropper, green el-cheapo silicon grips, Nukeproof pedals, 3D printed ISCG mounted bashguard are the recent additions:
  14. The pictures of the paramedics helping the attacker... I just couldn't do it. I think I'd just be repeatedly punching him in the balls until he bled out!
  15. I think it's asking for trouble telling people to clean their bikes with WD40... Shame on you Kenny
  16. Boil the pads in some water/ bake them in the oven/ spray them with brake cleaner and set fire to the f**kers to clean them up. Sugary drink remnants won't have contaminated them badly.
