  1. Is it still bled with car fluid? If so you really need to rebleed it either with mineral oil or water- the car DOT fluid will dissolve the seals and in time completely destroy your brake.
  2. Do you mean the Pro Bolt ones? I'm adding one and it's showing as £0.00 for postage which I expect should be correct... The HSBC thing shouldn't affect anything on the website though.
  3. Seriously, are you guys making some of these up? I stand by my former statement .
  4. I had a right hassle getting a BB out of an XC frame the other day. I just poured boiling water all over the BB shell and it came out straight away... wasn't expecting it to work but there you go
  5. Mix of everything really. There's muddy banks, upturned skips, logs, concrete stuff, rocks, sand... pretty much everything. Will still be ok in the rain, just a bit more challenging
  6. Fair enough. It seems like the whole PCSO scheme has good intentions but a lot of forces/jurisdictions are getting it wrong. Anyway, all the best to you.
  7. How dare you. How very dare you! I've been a good boy today and deposited £3000 in my ISA
  8. But that's part of the problem... The examples you've given here and in previous posts would've been exactly the same for any self respecting human... saving people on 7/7, check. Jumping in a canal to save someone, check. The one in the quarry, that was a choice of the people in question which came down to stupid health and safety crap. If they'd been off duty would they have tried to save them... well probably not but most real people would. Again, that's the point... PCSO's aren't police officers. What you describe is that you're powers don't really exceed a normal citizen defending themself against violence. Sorry, I'm still not convinced! Edit: Good luck with that, regardless of opinion, in the eyes of the people that matter being a PCSO should be a good stepping stone towards your goal.
  9. No, everyone's complaining that the standover's too low on the Mk2 so Steve's going to raise the top tube, I imagine together with slackening the seat tube angle.
  10. Sorry, but that made me laugh. From what I understand, if any kind of threat or threatening behaviour is used either towards a PCSO or anyone else, the officer is trained to simply walk away. They aren't allowed to intervene (is that right Gyser?). Also, completely agree that they are simply cheap, undertrained police officers with very little real power or authority. Somewhere above a security guard but far below a real police officer. Sorry for more shit talking of your job but that's my opinion.
  11. Pitbike, trials stuff, air rifle, motorbike, the entire Red Dwarf collection on DVD, a radio controlled car, mountain board, petrol powered mountain board, boomerang, radio controlled helicopter, camera, video camera... umm that's all I've got at the moment.
  12. About the past week from the looks of it...
  13. Ruben seems to be really pushing the innovation side of things in BMX... The seat/post looks like an interesting solution, material looks like some kind of fibreglass reinforced rapid prototype resiny stuff... It's currently all about pivotal setups, but that might eventually change from the looks of things... Neither those or the above setup could be run 'slammed' on the Heatsink Mk2 but would work no problem on an Inspired.
  14. You might want to delete this post before someone reports you...
  15. Really?... that's interesting... how much did you say these bikes are?
  16. They run pit bike days at Matchams (next to Ringwood). There was one going on when I was doing an MCN MX day there... Don't know any more than that though!
  17. There are 13T freewheels available, but they aren't trials specific... If you want a bombproof freewheel for the front, I personally go with ENO's. Have them on both of my trials bikes and never have a problem with them.
  18. Exactly. If the state's stupid enough to allow this to happen then he'd be stupid not to take advantage. Gets to spend all day with his kids and wife instead of slaving away in some college/school and is better off because of it.
  19. Why are they blaming Mohammed for this though? The problem is obviously with our welfare support system.
