I only wanted an older cheap thing to give it a try. If I start to get into it more I'll get an 03 Sherco or something I reckon.
  2. I'm on it. Will be getting some proper trials boots in the next week .
  3. Ain't ever gonna happen I'm afraid Mr Quigley!!
  4. IOW looks neater for advertising and the like...
  5. Youtube link is bogus but download link works. Sick. You're an absolute monster Mr T!! Oh yeah and Spartan... that avatar... seriously...
  6. I don't have the faintest idea whether you just made that up or not...
  7. Nah, it's all about 24" when it comes to streety stuff... Linky poo.
  8. I have heard of people doing this with motorbikes. You buy a crappy pay as you go mobile, keep it under your seat and if the bike's ever stolen you can track its location using services such as mobile locate.
  9. Hehe, was that the one where Chris was hitting that massive rock in the woods about 15 times and finally made it at the end?... That was only 2001 .
  10. Dunno... they're a bit, well, Spanish. Plus they have all the faults of Vdubs. The Ibiza my mum and dad had needed a new gearbox after 50000 miles.
  11. Yeah, it's not a hate of seats- just on the Zoot frame the design just doesn't lend itself to having a seat and post sticking out of it. Only really 'works' on proper double triangle type frames in my opinion.
  12. Yeah, pretty sure it's just a 27.2mm () seat tube you end up with so any BMX size post will fit in there. It's just a flat plate that bolts into the 4 threaded holes on the bridge between the seat stays and then a tube welded to accept the seat/post. The seatpost itself will then slide through the porcupine shaped hole in the bridge if you get me.
  13. Don't do it! It looks awful... However, if you must, I imagine Supercycles will be able to sort you out if you give them a ring. Was the same thing they used on the newer style T-Rex's as well.
  14. I was wondering when that would come up... :worried for spartan: On topic, I think it mainly comes down to time on the bike. Some people will pick things up quicker than others (Damon Watson springs to mind there) but without the hours on the bike that's of no use. So basically it's all about practice practice practice. And also, as has been mentioned, I guess riding with someone better than you will help too.
  15. Some seriously good riding there, cheers for posting .
  16. That looks like a l o n g stem Boon! And I thought my 115mm Simtra was long for a 24"...
  17. Slammable-wise, it's all about the Inspired post. 27.2 stumpy pivotal post. Ask Dave . Only other option is to get a standard BMX 25.4 post and get a shim. That's what I did before I got my Inspired setup...
  18. Nice pics Rob, cheers for posting . at Tom's riding face and the effort Dan's putting into that sidehop!! Good fun!
  19. Nah, it's just a standard colour. Went in to the local powder coaters and told them I'd like them done in bright orange and they turned out great. £15 for the pair too which I didn't think was too bad.
  20. Yes indeedy. Only went down there to film that one line because I know security are too fast down there.

In the vid it's just held on by the M6 bolt on the Echo hub. However, I've now turned up a custom stainless steel 10mm axle with a proper nut to keep it all together. Seems nice and solid!
