  1. I agree with Adam, didn't really see much in the way of riding the sections. Sweet quality though! Can someone PLEASE have a word with Gilles about what he wears at comps?... He's apparently the best rider in the world at the moment but I really can't even begin to take him seriously in that stupid legging/shorts combo. Thanks for posting Wes!
  2. For not bringing a Bar Blade or simply because he's Dave?
  3. Mmkay. To sell you have to register with eBay but also then provide them with credit card details so they can charge you for selling fees etc. It's fairly straight forward to do and I'm sure there are help pages and information for first time sellers readily available.
  4. Smooth, counteract email fraud by publishing your email address on a public forum. If only I knew how to send someone an emailbomb...
  5. Don't knock it, it'll probably be an Olympic sport in 2012...
  6. Log in to 'My eBay' on the site and see if it's listed in your items for sale. It does sometimes take a few minutes for it to actually appear on the site but will immediately be visible in your account so that's where to start.
  7. Well, I stand corrected. Apparently you can do superawsomefantasticmegagroovytricks with them. Luckily for us mere mortals, someone has been kind enough to post a video on Youtube. Now please, don't try this at home- I reckon this guy has been a professionally trained barman for many years and this clearly isn't something just anyone can do. Link.
  8. I thought I must've been missing something like that. The fact that after googling 'bar blade' (because I had no frickin' clue what it was) I found leather holsters available for them I guessed it must be something which deserved much finger pointing and hilarity about. I'm surprised Apple haven't brought out a white plastic version that only work on one type of ibottle.
  9. Or you could just buy a bottle opener. What's with jizzing over a 'bar blade'?
  10. I don't think so mate. () Yes the 08 model comes with a front disc, but I'm guessing that seeing as Mr Rib Rider paid £25 at a car boot sale for a partially incomplete bike it's not going to be brand new. Just a guess mind you... With regards brakes, have a look at TartyBikes and sus out what you need. If you could post a few pics of the bike on here we'll be able to tell you what brake's will be compatible (not sure if the frame is made for V brakes or 4 bolt Maguras) and you can go from there.
  11. Pretty sure scammers aren't actually interested in anything in the listing...
  12. Yes. But you'd then be right back to the problems described in this thread of a brake that will need to be set up really close to the rim and wouldn't work with a slightly buckled wheel.
  13. I've always thought you're a bit of a hellraiser, Rowan. To be fair, those are both reasonable questions that I've been asked many times while riding or doing demo's. Without any idea about trials, they'll have no inkling how expensive the bikes are and why would someone associate TartyBikes with what you're doing? It's not like the website reads www.buystrangebouncybikeswithnoseatshere.co.uk...
  14. Not gonna mention the 'K' word. The disc side dropout look like a bit of a bodge- 'Better stick a gusset there'. 'Nope, still cracks'. 'Howabout another one there?'. 'Nope, still cracks'. 'Better add another one there'. 'Bugger, we've run out of places to put gussets'. That, along with the rather basic looking dropout itself doesn't do much for me. Rest of the frame looks reasonable, though it's a dead ringer for the K... or is it the R...
  15. 1) That would be in the Winter Olympics. 2) We (read Scotland) rock at Curling.
  16. Lol at the Kiribati team... all three of them.
  17. Go down to your local Hellfrauds with the cranks and ask to borrow theirs. Tends to work best if you actually know someone that works there but they're usually fairly good about those sorts of things.
  18. If that were the case, you'd have a transaction shown in your Paypal account with a 'status: held' or similar. If there's nothing there, he ain't paid.
