  1. Yeah, I'd say those are all completely unofficial and Monty orientated... I mean the 'forward jump on 26"' is only 37". I was bunnyhopping 40" back in 99 on my 16" GT Backwoods with V brakes and a seat. And the World Record at that time was around 45" by Steve Geall.
  2. I have no idea who Deonn is (I don't think...) but I'm not convinced by that comment, unless he's actually Vincent Hermance or Neil Tunnicliffe or whoever... Someone told me today that the official World Record is now 55" held by someone on a 26" bike and over a bar that's really going some.
  3. That doesn't even make sense... What are you trying to say? Kevin Porter's a bit handy at those isn't he?
  4. Very true, well unless Damon tried and then he'd be able to jump a house. I know 'cos my mate saw him..... mate. (Please note that again this is no way a dig at Damon, just at Mat Smith for his dumb arse comments).
  5. at Dave's face in the pic Mark posted!
  6. Either way, seems like the answer's still the same. Basically yes.
  7. Kind of similar for sidehops- over a bar you have to have the horizontal displacement to consider so you clear the bar completely. To get on a wall you're effectively only having to sidehop onto the bar rather than over it. A lot of people also lever the bike up using the front wheel, although that's not the case for people like Tunni, CLS and Damon.
  8. Please tell me I'm not mad thinking that they used to sell them with a cool plastic seat type thing similar to how the Ashton's do it? I'm sure it was a Leisure Lakes catalogue I saw that in...
  9. Ahahahahahahahahahahahahaha. Hahahahhahahahahahaha. Ha. Ha... Hahahahahahahahahahaha..... mate. I stand by Joe Maher's avatar.
  10. Enter the TF tape measure... We're talking official records. Don't doubt that Damon could probably do over 55" onto a wall and possibly over a bar too but 'its like 60 or something' is just plain BS.
  11. Ditto. Best of the three in my opinion. JJ Gregorowicz's section in that was the reason I went to mod all those years ago!
  12. If you have to ask I ain't tellin'!
  13. If your name's Rick Koekoek!
  14. No. The bunnyhop record (forward over a bar) is held by Dani Comas, set in 2004 and is 1.21m. The sidehop record (I think) is still officially held by Benito Ros Charral and is something like 1.36m. Two records. Reason I have that info from Guiness is because I asked them whether I could attempt a bunnyhop record for a 24" bike but they don't distinguish between wheel sizes. I didn't take it any further though...
  15. Umm... try reading my post again? I editted it just for you . That was valid in May this year and I'm assuming is still the case.
  16. Come one then, give us a rough idea of how you do it... Had a good day really, was taking it a bit easy because my knee's still a bit dodgy but was good to see lots of old faces and some new ones too. Did Danny Kearns manage to get his rear wheel ridable again after mullering it on the gap at Castle Park and the subsequent beating he gave it? Dave (Blue Inspired Fourplay)
  17. Think the official world record for the sidehop is still held by Benito Ros at about 53.5" although I know Rick Koekoek can easily beat that if it were all organised...
  18. Pretty sure it will be cancelled altogether. Sorry fella.
  19. How would it weaken it? Loving the rear brake pad setup too...
