  1. I'll take your word for it. However, I'm sure fluffly pyjamas are really comfy but I wouldn't wear those in public either.
  2. He mainly rides moto trials these days but is a rep for some mountainbike company.
  3. You also don't go up to a roadie and say 'wow, that lycra looks soooo cool, really tight... man I can see everything! Where can I get me some threads like them?'. And that's because lycra, along with wearing girls jeans, can never be cool.
  4. And also those are obviously unofficial although I'm sure there's a vid of Rick on a TV show doing a real attempt...
  5. From a letter from GWR in around June this year. That's the official bunnyhop record. Also of note is that the official Guiness records are not wheel size specific so it makes no odds to them if you do it on a 20, 24 or 26" bike.
  6. For things like that I'd say having someone 'in the know' is a good idea. Your bro's girlfriend is probably the best bet... just in case like .
  7. How do they get away with that in a shopping centre?!
  8. Also agree that the video should really have him making it at the end!!
  9. Uh huh... Never gonna go starting from standstill on the flat rock. Looking forward to some of the TGS peeps releasing 5 minute long vids documenting their next sidehop...
  10. You seem to be missing what trials is, and what the tyres are really designed for. Trials as most people think of it comes from competitions. And you know, when it's wet in a comp, they don't cancel it. Trials tyres, and tyres that people use for trials (Maxxis Slow Reezays etc) are designed to be used in all conditions, not just the dry. So man up and just ride! Riding in the wet will make you a better, smoother rider anyway as you have to think more about where you're going to get grip and how to stop things going wrong.
  11. No idea about the tune but man do fixie's suck.
  12. They're made for UCI style riding (i.e. used little and infrequently in theory) and as such they're not really designed to be beaten to death. I'd guess that if you're snapping Eagle Claw guards it's going to get abused...
  13. Best bet's probably for him to sign up to an 'enthusiasts' forum- there should be one for whatever he's got...
  14. What's the deal with most forks now being post mount? I had a scan a while back for forks for my play bike and the majority seemed to be post mount... is it going to become the new IS?
  15. Nope, I just tried a few spellings and nothing.
  16. Fair do's. In which case, you could drill and tap the blanks.
  17. Yeah, the Pinkbike search is kinda weird- tends not to find all the pics of a certain rider. Odd that none come up for Marco though.
  18. Marco Grosenik? Or however you spell it...
  19. He might've been running a chain device before, or just removed them to save weight but I'm almost certain you couldn't fit a granny ring to those.
