You reckon? Seeing as the smallest freewheel you can get is 13T and anybody who's anybody runs a maximum of 11T on the back these days I'd say the majority of BMXers run cassette hubs of one sort or another. And yeah, main reason against running an ENO on the rear is because you'd need to run a 22T ring on the cranks which is pretty big by todays standards.
Hey, I *think* I was running an Easton EA50 90x20deg stem which I painted white. Either that or a Symtra ReSyStem which comes in white. Which I still have sitting in my garage if you're interested . Edit: Having watched the HD version on Vimeo (link) I was definitely running the painted Easton stem.
Because every time a new HEN product comes out I only ever seem to have negative comments. For this one it's basically poor finish and limited recess for the pad to sit in. Heatsink ftw in my opinion...
Yeah, well trials really is the geeks version of bike riding... People will try and convince you that trials is cool and riders are along the same vein as downhillers and bmxers but it just ain't so!
I think there may be a discrepancy on what's being described. By front hooks I'm meaning bunnyhopping/pedalling into a big step so the front wheel lands on top then flicking the bike up and forwards onto both wheels or the rear wheel in one move. That can be done without a front brake. However, a static hook where you just hang off the forks before springing up obviously will need a front brake in most cases and may be what others are getting at.
