  1. That DOB looks like a kids bike to me... Not sure quite who it's aimed at. As Dazza says, that GasGas is a real e-trials bike. The DOB looks more like a slightly larger Oset. I don't mind the idea of an eMTB but I'm going to wait a few years so that the battery tech slims down (together with the wait) and things become a bit more mature. The MTB industry seems like a bit of a mess at the moment and I'm hoping things might settle down a bit in the next few years.
  2. It's a mountain bike... with a motor. They've been around for coming up to 10 years. That's absolutely nothing to do with trials.
  3. Wait... that's not the ---***###$TR@/6HT3DG3 ###***--- Jon Mack selling is it?...
  4. I think the kicker sprocket is designed for a screw on hub so same theory but a different kettle of fish to running two sprockets on a freehub body.
  5. I didn't know they did DH for the blind... Good on the previous owner for giving it a go though!
  6. Utter bullshit. Sure it's more expensive but that is 100% no excuse for such crap performance. He needs to accept that he's grown too big for just him to cope with the orders. Either hire in guys and do it properly or pack it in (at least internationally).
  7. JD's comment does raise the question of whether you introduce a Left and a Right Chopstick... How symmetric is the existing design? If you added a post mount on both sides of the leg could it be ambidextrous?!
  8. Cool. You might even be able to refit it without taking the wheel out of the frame...
  9. Is that the one on the outside of the freehub body? If so that bearing should be pretty reliably held in place by the compression of the wheel in the frame so you should be fine.
  10. I feel we need to take a minute and just mention Jeff Lenosky by name again. Jeff Lenosky.
  11. It was there an hour ago! A Koxx Mixx I think it was. Doesn't work now for some reason. http://www.k-124.co.uk/product.php?product_id=73
  12. Such a nice style he's got. Very quick and smooth with manuals for miles.
  13. That's mental. I'd be asking for your deposit back and buying something else... A bit of a delay for a bespoke custom frame is one thing, ignoring emails and not bothering to send a finished frame for 4 months (after taking 6 months to make it) is unacceptable. Good luck.
  14. I was always a fan of the old english white with the Union Jack headube 'flames':
  15. If it was me I'd paint the frame up in Ed Tongue factory colours or something and hang it on the wall then buy an Inspired Hex to ride.
  16. Women drivers, eh? To be fair, that video doesn't show the speed in the slightest. Try that. Scary stuff. She was (along the marshals and photographers) very, very lucky.
  17. Are the flanges on the 150 wider than a normal 135? If so I would expect you to struggle!
  18. Jack's just in a class of his own at the moment isn't he?! So fast and confident. In other news wtf is with the scoring? So now each section adds up to 60 per obstacle? What was wrong with the clean-5 dabs thing that's been used, well, forever? Edit: Also Nicolas Vallee in section 5? What were the observers watching? Toe touches obstacle? Meh. Blatant hop while already dabbing? He haw he haw, but ee iz french!
  19. You'd think RB would've told Max that Ocon was on fresh rubber and looking a bit racey...
  20. Lol. I've lost a bit of muscle mass and definition but not much which is quite impressive considering i'm now 36 and hardly ride anymore! Only ever rode bikes and still never set foot in a gym!
  21. Loved that Monty with the Repsol Orange rims! Good times for a bad reason.
  22. I'm far from an expert at front wheel moves but from that vid a couple of things that spring to mind are: 1) You need to start further away from the ledge. If that feels wrong just pick a line on the ground (change in surface, parking bay line, whatever) and get yourself a bit further away before you begin the move. In the video you're almost on top of the kerb when you start the move which means you're not able to do much more than drop the front wheel onto it and do an endo. 2) Combined with that try getting your bum lower when you preload for takeoff. It sounds wrong but if you start low and relatively far back it forces you to lunge forward with your body when you start the move which in turn helps with getting the front wheel planted when it lands. 3) Focus on the edge of what you're landing on (or the line). Particularly on ups to front I always find that if I'm looking at the wall (either face or top) I don't judge things right but if I'm focused right on the edge your brain takes over and gets you where you want to be. 4) Wear a helmet
