  1. I'm sooo happy that I made that big up on that block at Spice- tried that so many times on both 20" and 26" and never made it but flew up it on the Danny Mac machine! . Andy's got a pic of it so hopefully will see them sometime. Edit: That's the puppy .
  2. Is it like a proper chain? If so, cut it right by the lock so they're only losing a link or two so you're not really even destroying anything.
  3. Good luck. No CCTV cameras are there? Probably best not to wear a pink leotard too, may draw attention.
  4. Depends what you're going to use the bike for really. I'm using the RT's, 2.4 rear and 2.2 front and really like them- fats rolling and grippy. The DMR tyres don't have much in the way of puncture protection though so you'll need to run them relatively hard tp prevent flats.
  5. Riiiiight... You gave your bike a boys name? I bet Liam loved a good hard ride every so often, didn't he? Oooh, suits you.
  6. Nathie Wafie... you really need to sort out your riding face! It's really quite disturbing! Edit: Is that Danny Mac in the last pic?! Thought I'd get that in before you barsterds start...
  7. Really good pics by the way. Some of those steps look really dodgy though! Crazy things these guys are doing! Looks like the outcome of the 'Ouch' pic could've been pretty damn nasty too!
  8. Hehe, you're probably right. With regards road bikes, I got in trouble when I did my CBT (having never ridden a motorbike before) for covering the brake and clutch with one finger... and then for using my knees to balance! I now tend to use four fingers most of the time but do regularly use two fingers on the front brake when I know I'm just scrubbing a bit of speed rather than stopping.
  9. Yeah, pretty much. Just carried over from biketrials where I always cover both brakes all of the time.
  10. Hey Lee, What sort of price are they after? From what I gather the bikes are a little 'basic'- not the most up to date geometry, a little heavy but also reasonably good for a beginners bike. All depends on the price really! Edit: Keep an eye on this... would be a good bike if you're not fussed about 20" vs. 26" and it goes for a reasonable price .
  11. Not really. I hate not being in control of myself or what I'm doing. Funny drunk is good, blootered and punching windows is bad.
  12. Well if you're gonna go around punching windows...
  13. Hi Lee, this is Dave Marshall. Check out the rides and locations area of the thread and come along to one of the Southampton rides. Although I probably ought to be doing the Waltham trial today I'm off on the pushbike to ride in Pompy but will give you a shout next time I'm going into Soton. I can give you a go on my 24" but it's not a totally trials specific bike so won't feel quite the same as a full on trials bike.
  14. Serves you right to be fair. Think I may be attending... can't decide whether to play moto or push but quite fancy playing in Pompy again...
  15. I really don't 'get' street dance acts... Looks like having a fit on stage to me. But what do I know?!
  16. It might've been if the guy was putting it on to be funny, like Ali G or whatever but he was just an untalented chavvy arse.
  17. It will just make the gearing really light which will make it difficult to put lots of power through the drivetrain. Things like your gaps will suffer.
