  1. How not to do it... And for those who've missed it elsewhere, how Fujigas does it: Youtube Video -> ">" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="350">
  2. Did they take his name or anything? Without any kind of identification a bike's a bike and they can't do anything surely?
  3. Cool beans! You boys are crazy! Really good riding in there. Wouldn't have been my choice of music but then I'm obsessed with an animated hamster...
  4. Unrelated to Heath's pics but for the moto fans out there... Holy mother of Ala... Youtube Video -> ">" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="350">
  5. Yeah, I run 18:13 for everything except comps where I'm going to run a 14T on the rear to make the bike feel lighter and accelerate faster.
  6. I guess it depends what you're going to do on it but those bits stand out as being a bit 'iffy'. *Forks wouldn't be my choice but if you have them already cool. TrialTechs or the Inspired ones when they come out would be at the top of my list. *Halo rear hub would worry me... I'd go with a Pro2 or even an Eno and go front freewheel. *You might want a narrower tyre on the front, but that's just preference. *The stem is reeeaaalllly short and probably pretty heavy. The consensus is that around 90mm with a 15 odd degree rise is about optimum for keeping streetyness while allowing more trialsy moves as well. *I've never been a fan of Pigs on trials bikes, they're just too overbuilt and burly. *18:12 is very stiff for a 24" but again it depends on what you're going to use it for. Most run 18:14 or 18:13. Hope that helps a little...
  7. Same. Also for the rear, consider Phat Pads on a smooth rim. I'm running it on my Inspired at the mo and it works exactly how I want; modulation and not too grabby for manuals when you don't want grab but then holds like a mofo when you actually want it to lock. Spot on in my opinion.
  8. Can I just add that I find it completely unbelievable that anyone could take the piss out of Ali's bike or his riding. That's like taking the piss out of Martyn Ashton, Ben Savage or whoever. He's one of the countries best riders, on both natural and street, and is one of the nicest guys I've ever met. There's something wrong if that's the sort of person you're going to make fun of... Very good point. I'd have killed to have someone like Ali to ride with when I was learning to ride.
  9. Come again Dave... So the whole point was to try and piss off as many people as possible with a shit video? Thought as much but it just makes all you TGS crew look like knobs. What has it achieved apart from helping to increase the divide between riders? I had thought that recently things had settled down quite a lot, with a lot less arguments and shit being thrown between tribes. Danny Mac's video and Rowan's etc appeared to have appealed to all riders whether 24" shit BMXers or hardcore sidehoppers TGS riders but then you go and spoil it all by saying something stupid like 'ferkin kewl sids you sleeeegggggzzzz ROFL LMAO' etc etc.
  10. Strong words coming from the king of style!!
  11. Time for a new video comp methinks.
  12. This topic soooo deserves a Lobster Dog.
  13. Bars will be fine but you want to go shorter for a stem. Something around 90 x 15 degrees would be good. The bikes definitely suit higher setups.
  14. Are you absolutely sure? I'm not convinced.
  15. I thought we were supposed to be keeping that on the down low?
  16. Is this some kind of Northern 'in' joke?
  17. Did you really put tar on that dry rail in order to sidehop to backwheel?
  18. Bloody hell Rowan... I don't think I could do half of that stuff with brakes! Incredible. But still very silly.
  19. Strange... also from the BBC. Ah well, as you say it's a tiny number of people.
  20. I do I do In fact, I've only ever ridden for fun...
