  1. You carried on driving it with no oil in the gearbox?! If it was just a seal to start with it's now a new gearbox isn't it?! Edit: And Jarrod, do you actually have a bike and ride anymore?
  2. He's fookin' fast until he crashes though.
  3. Damn that sucks . I was parked there too but obviously a Moon Lander (Rover Streetwise boyyyyzzz) doesn't float anyone's boat... they probably felt sorry for me, or were too busy laughing...
  4. Was that the minute before you actually saw me ride? :$
  5. Nah, if you actually go into the more detailed forecast on the BBC it says exactly what the Met says .
  6. All weather reports say it's going to rain at 10, clear up to sunshine by 1 and then some light showers in the afternoon. Just depends ho long that downpour at 10's going to last...
  7. I'm guessing that it's Iain Withers who's the normal commentator for The Clan. Don't actually know though! Wish I could be in The Clan
  8. Poor quality video of one of his displays: Youtube Video -> ">" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="350">
  9. Ah fair enough. BMX hub wise Profile are one of the best but because engagements are less important virtually anything will work fine i.e. Odyssey Hazard or any other reasonable brand cassette hub .
  10. The rider himself is unimportant. If anyone had released such a groundbreaking video (in the trials world) like Danny's, which had been received in 1/1000 as well as his has been world wide, and someone raped it like that it would still be completely wrong. At the end of the day, the rider and film maker spent literally months getting all the footage together and editing it to a point where they were absolutely happy with it. For some kid to come along and mess around with it and put it to some different music is not only rather annoying but also incredibly rude.
  11. BMX hub spacing is 110mm. Inspired is 135mm.
  12. I really think you should remove that from youtube ASAP before someone comes and murders you for murdering what was a fantastic video. Please.
  13. Note that the picture on the CRC site is not of the Mammoth but of a BFR. The Mammoth is a bit heavy and a bit narrow but they are pretty strong. They have really high sidewalls and will work well with a rim brake . I ran them for a couple of years on my GT Backwoods 26" back in 99 or so. They're also kind of strange in that they use a weird plastic strip around the rim for some reason. Actual Mammoth rim: Edit: I think the BFR's are the same as the Mammoths but without the 'composite strip':
  14. Not these days they don't. KHE Specter Pro complete: 8.35kg/18.409lbs. That's straight out the factory and pretty frickin' light if you ask me!
  15. Don't forget 24". As a BMXer you'd still be able to play with more BMXey type moves while also being good for 'proper' trials too.
  16. Sorry Matt, I think I'm going to have to go with the DJ Memorial ride. With all respect to the people who'll be attending Abingdon, I feel that it's important for as many people who actually knew DJ and can keep his memory alive to attend the ride for the right reasons. I may still see about continuing up to the Wood Fest event after the DJ ride to be around on the Sunday though. Dave
  17. Buy this! Ben's been trying to sell it for ages and it's about as pimp as they come and would do exactly what you want for DH at least. Cost him over £4k to buy and he only wants £800! Plus it'll mean he can buy a 24"!!
  18. Wheels are easy to build- don't be such a girl! Just look at George French's wheelbuilding guide on the G-Sport site and you can't go wrong.
