  1. I know it'll ruin your 'do but helmet Mr Hazel! Bike looks good and it looks like you're getting used to it fast . Will have to go out for a ride somewhen.
  2. It can't be a good thing that I had no idea what that said until I went to reply and saw the file name...
  3. 995g (that's nearly 1kg) - 700g (that's not quite so nearly 1kg) = 295g. The lightest trials bars around at the moment are 211g (try-all carbon's). Either 700g is an exaggeration or the bars must've been cut down about 6" either side! Edit 1: Also, the change in mass is unlikely to make your riding a lot better- that's more likely down to the change in geometry and general set up of the controls. Edit 2: HIGH FIVE! Edit 3: I love lamp.
  4. Most don't, however the Pulmonata family of slugs and snails have developed something called a pallial lung.
  5. I was thinking that- car looks really fast and well put together but it looks like the driver is way off the limit. Edit; specifically for the second run in the second vid- he could've been on the gas much more for most of that run. Looks like fun though!!
  6. I'm not convinced that it will work with Magura's either unfortunately... Someone like Adam at Tartybikes would be able to answer that in a second though! Good luck .
  7. I'll be available at any time of the day or night to shout abuse at you, laugh and make fun of you and call you a loser for your addiction to death sticks . You're welcome .
  8. I only saw a 2 second clip on an advert the other day- recognised Dougie and just guessed it would be a presenter. I was wrong .
  9. Been a bit rubbish about getting this together but Andy and my vid: "NBR31: Life Flows Better" Vimeo Video -> Original Video Tune is 'Come on Train' by Don Thomas (Ian Parton mix). If you like it, feel free to vote for it in the Trials Chat forum . Obviously a bit of inspiration may have come from a certain Visa advert but we thought it fitted the 'travel' topic nicely by trying to make the vid as one continuous line to move round the sweet little trials spot near my house.
  10. Hmm... not convinced! Where's Sayshell when you need him?
  11. Yup! Took a few attempts to get some bits done too so yeah, I was a bit dead by the end... If you like it, don't forget to vote .
  12. You're reeeeaaaalllly not helping yourself here you know...
  13. I find that very, very, very unlikely... Kind of like religion too, I guess.
  14. Yup. Don't know it for certain but it really wouldn't surprise me if Ben tells them how it should be done. Whether he's suited up with the helmet on or whether they just sign a confidentiality agreement or whatever is another matter. Of minor note is that on this weeks 5th gear one of the presenters gets taught to ride some mototrials by Dougie Lampkin. Not exactly ground breaking considering VBH did it last year but could be amusing nonetheless.
  15. They've gotta be. However, are you sure those are the right things for the hub you've bought? Just in case it's a BMX one with a single piece 9T driver or something that's died which obviously won't be compatible with what you've linked to. Edit: Are they the same and what you need?!
  16. No, the black one was Perry McCarthy, probably with the occasional replacement when he was unavailable. Ben's been the white one for the vast majority of shows, and the Top Gear Live shows etc.
  17. The normal Stig is not Schumi. No doubt he was driving the FXX for that lap but the normal Stig is Ben Collins. .
  18. Weight = mass x gravitational constant. You're given the weight in air (in Newtons I presume) and you know the acceleration due to gravity (~9.81ms^-2) so you can work out the mass. From the weight in water you can work out the volume of the object because the difference between the weight in water and the weight in air is due to the buoyancy (weight of water displaced). From there (I think) you should have the mass and the volume and since Mass = density x volume. You can work out the density. Or something like that...
