  1. You just need to replace the [/URL] tags which your post used to make a hyperlink with [/IMG] tags which would embed the image in the post . You need to use the full image address though and for some reason you also need to get rid of the ?0 at the end too... Simples!
  2. Sorry but I'd be lying if I said Koxx... The production graphics on the Skull just don't seem to be consistent with Onza's development to become a serious contender in the high level frame market. Having just looked at the Skull on the Onza site, the white one in the foreground is far more like it (although I know it's photoshopped). At present I'd say Koxx with the white and black skies are the some of nicest trials graphics out there although the Aurem's quite cool too.
  3. That pretty much ended in the 1960's.
  4. Noooo! I still really don't like the random two tone/half painted look of the 26"! All one well chosen colour with maybe some well chosen graphics (but only well chosen). And I'm not talking skulls and crossbones taken out of some kiddies pirate sticker book either...
  5. What? Like an Inspired? Or a GU? Or maybe the Rockman Aurem? Sorry, baby blue with white looks frickin' sweet but it's currently being done to death. I should know, I started the craze*. *Albeit around 4 years after Paul Turner did it on his Curtis.
  6. The pre-05 ones had TPA's too... There's currently at least one complete set of Racelines and one rear brake on eBay.
  7. Really? I thought that was almost finished... Monstrosity? Yes. Why? Apart from the reasons listed above by others, I think the fact that he won't actually be able to drive it along normal roads because it's wider than an 18 wheeler, won't be able to park in any kind of normal car park, possibly won't even be able to steer the bloody wheels! 140mm of spacers? Just think for a second what happens when he turns the wheel with the 100% unmodified steering geometry... That's right, the wheel, rather than pivoting about a point near the centre of the inside face of the wheel will instead move through an arc that means that in order to get any kind of normal steer angle for negotiating the odd mini roundabout will require arch opening that extends from the somewhere in the front bumper to somewhere in the door opening!! (As RobinJI said) So no, in his case from what I can tell I have no respect for his dedication because he's trying to turn something that could've been a nice understated modded car and is now turning into a turd. Not even a polished turd but a plain turd. As it stands now I'd rather own the standard 1.1 he started with than the monstrosity he's currently creating. Don't get me wrong, I'm not against car modding. What that VW guy's done that JVM80 posted is quite amazing what he's done and I'm sure will end up very nice. However, he hasn't taken a standard 1.0l golf and f**ked it up with 140mm wheel spacers and made it into a pile of sh**e, he's actually thought about what he wanted to achieve. Edit: From looking at your Saxo and Duc I can tell you know exactly how to make something look really nice without going overboard so you've got to admit what that guy's doing is just stupid?!
  8. I have absolutely no idea what you're talking about. Sounds like a magura and a v-brake with magura pads to me...
  9. And if you just flick to near the end of the thread you immediately realise the guy is a complete retard . Or is that a different car? Didn't actually bother reading much of it. Whoever owns this monstrosity needs to be slapped. 1.1 Pug 106... Sick blud.
  10. Metallic Orange (not gold)... Maybe with white graphics? Or a metallic green/lime colour possibly with black graphics: Definitely not plain silver (boring!)...
  11. Andrei's super cool period . Has he actually picked up sponsorship from Nike 6.0? That would be sweet if he had... Exactly. Kenny as the Monty no. 1 wins without a shred of (quite dodgy) Monty clothing and without looking like a total tool. The man's a hero!
  12. Just got back from the hospital and Terry's doing fine- looks a little worse for wear but apparently much better than he did yesterday! They were at a car boot sale when it happened yet he still drove home before getting Michael to drop him off at the hospital and he walked in unassisted!! That's our Terry! Apparently he has a list of do's and don't's as long as his arm, one of which is no driving for 6 weeks and he's already thinking of what to do for the next Hampshire comp at Bransgore!! He's suggested that it be made a play day so he doesn't have to mark out the sections etc. but I just found it funny that he was already planning how to get round this minor setback! Anyway, he was happy to hear that everyone's asking after him and I think Michael's keeping an eye on this thread so keep the comments coming .
  13. Steve Peat ran the gear system on his DH rig for a while ('Airlines' springs to mind) but it never took off. Don't remember brakes though. Edit: Anyone spot the minor design problem? Slick. Real slick.
  14. Not if it's wireless and I imagine it would be comparitively heavy... Don't see it myself.
  15. I've just got a card to give him but obviously there's no way everyone/anyone will be able to sign it. Was thinking of printing out the comments left and putting it in the card then signing it from all of HBTC or whatnot.
  16. And the odd socks. And the gay shiny shorts that look like the ones boxers wear... These Frenchies really aren't doing anything to help the fashion side of trials are they?!
  17. Just spoken to the hospital and they've said he's doing fine. Am going to go and visit him this afternoon and will let him know everyone's thinking of him .
  18. I'm going to give the hospital a ring in a bit and find out how he's doing and when they're likely to move him to Southampton General. Will update if I get any news.
  19. I just got a message from Mike Graves, ex World Round rider and super nice guy: This probably means nothing to most people but Terry has been an important figure in UK biketrials and the ACU for many years and has been organising the Hampshire Biketrial series for the past 8 or so years. He is one of the kindest and nicest people anyone will ever meet and I just wanted to pass on this information for those of you who know him. I very much hope he's through the worst of it but will endeavour to find out more and see if I can go visit him at some point. Anyway, my thoughts are with Terry, Hazel and Michael and will let you know if I hear anything else.
  20. Point proven. Starship Troopers truly is one of the most horrendous films ever made and does actually make me want to inflict serious violence upon it's producers.
  21. That would be most embarassing if it was just the lock slide thingy... Will ask him to check .
  22. And violence solves nothing and more likely will end up with you either 1) getting arrested and getting a criminal record or 2) ending up in hospital when the first guys friends jump in or track you down later on and smash you round the head with a metal bar rendering you 3) dead.
  23. GF's grandad is having some issues with the USB ports on an XP PC... The computer only has USB 1.0 ports and when he plugs in his digital camera or SD card reader, it makes the right noise, gives the old 'this device can perform faster' blurb but then nothing appears in My Computer as it should (removable storage or whatever). Strangely though my external HDD plugged straight in and worked perfectly and his webcam works fine etc. So basically the ports function fine for some things but not for his camera or card reader... Any ideas? Have tried installing the specific drivers but the card reader needs to be plugged in to install and although it physically is the computer can't see it so aborts the install. The camera has no drivers because XP should support it already! Am I looking at a Windows reinstall to sort it?
