Good calls everyone! Have been to buy strawberry jam, pork roll, apple sauce, cheese and peanut butter... let the carnage begin .

I have a new found hate for Scott Mills... 'Love you!'. f**k. Off.

We just call ghem homers... for obvious reasons.

There's not an aweful lot to it to be honest, especially when you're using a 203. There is some differrence in performance relatinng to the surface area of the rotor which actually contacts the pad surface. However, since you've got a 203 Avid it'd be the difference between 'shiiiiit that's strong' and 'fuuuuck that's strong' so not much in it . With regards the 200 rotor, don't forget that's the OD so you're actually only losing 1.5mm that the pad can grab and so in my mind a 200 rotor will be perfectly adequate. Basically, at the end of the day it comes down to aesthetics. Want a wavy rotor? Want a sawtooth rotor? Don't mind a round one? Just go with what you fancy but the price won't make much difference at all.

Seems pretty spot on to me...

Eeeewww . Peanut butter and jam... Any particular flavour of jam or does any work? Cheese and raisins... interesting! Just dry raisins? Cheese, jam(!) and S&V crisps is something I may have to try too but does sound proper weirdo .

Ok, so this may be doomed for failure but I make sandwiches for work in the morning and have a very (VERY) narrow repertoire which consists of ham and cheese, corned beef... and that's about it. Basically open to suggestions for easy and quick to make sarnies that don't involve anything hot and won't have died a death by the time they're eaten 6 hours after making. Fire away .

Ah, f**k off why don't you.

Well, there goes us not being as bad as he thought... Damnit and we were keeping up the friendly, helpful charade so well too.

Aww, killjoy .

Is it a disc brake mount facing tool? I'd buy one of them if it was...
-
The RB blades themselves could be used almost as a direct replacement though couldn't they? Keeping the standard Maggy lever body and so non-leakiness.

Would depend on how intricate the cuts needed to be I'd guess (i.e. how long the machine will be tied up doing the job). Also if you already have the designs together and code ready to feed into the machine. Afraid I have no idea on cost though.

In theory I agree with you. What your bike looks like doesn't matter in the slightest. However, most people do like their bikes to look nice and since the frame is the biggest component (and possible source of colour) it makes sense to start there. I think my main point with all this is that after the raw prototype pictures of the 320 appeared in the Onza thread people loved it and were immediately asking what colour it'd be. Joe seemed open to suggestions (from the people who would actually be buying the thing) and there were plenty of sensible options put forwards and at no point was gold mentioned. If Jewish Racing Gold were a good choice for a trials bike you'd see a few around but do you? No. Because it looks crap. The other side of all this is that this is supposed to be Onza's 'Pro Series' range which should've helped to improve the overall perception of the trials community that Onza only make budget bikes for newbies. Thr designs are pretty much on the money but by continuing to end up ruining them with bad colour choices and crap graphics they're just not helping themselves... One step forward and three steps back in my book. Edit: Having just looked at all the 20" frames on Tarty, there isn't one (which isn't an Onza) that I would want to spray once I got it and seeing as the Pro Series is now (effectively) competing against things like the Koxx Skys, Rockmans, Atomz etc in my opinion they really need to up their game in the colour/graphics department to keep up. It's always been a deficiency of Onza (just think of the old T-Rex's- really good (if a bit heavy) frames with the tackiest paintjob ever) and I think now they're pushing for the performance market they really need to get their act together. I may not be very tactful sometimes (ever?) but I actually have nothing against Onza and really want them to be as successful as they ought to be but they keep shooting themselves in the foot!

My guess is Joe will win purely because of all the mums buying the CD for grannies and kiddies. However I really, really hope I'm wrong!

S'all good . Any idea what the score is with OTN? Is the site backed up anywhere to reupload or is it not as simple as that?
-
I've done that before with a threaded sprocket but had to make a thin shim because the chain was getting caught on the spokes without one.

I don't think it'll be that long. The Inspired took years because everything had to happen from scratch. Now Dave has all the financial backing sorted, factories primed and contacts in the industry I'd have thought they coudl put together some proto's pretty quick and get something together before the end of next year... That's a total guess though! That's assuming something is happening. I've heard nothing yet.

Tomorrow afternoon on Radio 1 I think...

That's a bit weird. I guess if you can get away with changing the BB length then that would help but 127.5/128mm is pretty much standard for ISIS these days anyway. How does the spacing look with the rear wheel bolts loose? Does the frame 'pull in' much when you tighten the bolts up? Is it because your hub is 110mm spacing to allow for snail cams but with the Onza you don't need them?

What gearing are you running?

Yeah man, because George f**king Bush and Sarah f**kng Palin where such intelligent, useful additions to the gene pool. I was so disappointed no one managed to assassinate Bush. At least Obama actually has some brain cells to rub together although I guess that makes most white Americans feel stupid and inadequate. P.S. I'm guessing you were joking but all the points still stand, just aimed at all the other American retards .
-
Unlucky (but welcome ). Why do Americans have to shout? Inside voice please .
-
Hehe, stick with it! A nice high front end and shorter stem will transform the bike and definitely help with bunnyhops .
