  1. The RB blades themselves could be used almost as a direct replacement though couldn't they? Keeping the standard Maggy lever body and so non-leakiness.
  2. Would depend on how intricate the cuts needed to be I'd guess (i.e. how long the machine will be tied up doing the job). Also if you already have the designs together and code ready to feed into the machine. Afraid I have no idea on cost though.
  3. In theory I agree with you. What your bike looks like doesn't matter in the slightest. However, most people do like their bikes to look nice and since the frame is the biggest component (and possible source of colour) it makes sense to start there. I think my main point with all this is that after the raw prototype pictures of the 320 appeared in the Onza thread people loved it and were immediately asking what colour it'd be. Joe seemed open to suggestions (from the people who would actually be buying the thing) and there were plenty of sensible options put forwards and at no point was gold mentioned. If Jewish Racing Gold were a good choice for a trials bike you'd see a few around but do you? No. Because it looks crap. The other side of all this is that this is supposed to be Onza's 'Pro Series' range which should've helped to improve the overall perception of the trials community that Onza only make budget bikes for newbies. Thr designs are pretty much on the money but by continuing to end up ruining them with bad colour choices and crap graphics they're just not helping themselves... One step forward and three steps back in my book. Edit: Having just looked at all the 20" frames on Tarty, there isn't one (which isn't an Onza) that I would want to spray once I got it and seeing as the Pro Series is now (effectively) competing against things like the Koxx Skys, Rockmans, Atomz etc in my opinion they really need to up their game in the colour/graphics department to keep up. It's always been a deficiency of Onza (just think of the old T-Rex's- really good (if a bit heavy) frames with the tackiest paintjob ever) and I think now they're pushing for the performance market they really need to get their act together. I may not be very tactful sometimes (ever?) but I actually have nothing against Onza and really want them to be as successful as they ought to be but they keep shooting themselves in the foot!
  4. My guess is Joe will win purely because of all the mums buying the CD for grannies and kiddies. However I really, really hope I'm wrong!
  5. S'all good . Any idea what the score is with OTN? Is the site backed up anywhere to reupload or is it not as simple as that?
  6. I've done that before with a threaded sprocket but had to make a thin shim because the chain was getting caught on the spokes without one.
  7. I don't think it'll be that long. The Inspired took years because everything had to happen from scratch. Now Dave has all the financial backing sorted, factories primed and contacts in the industry I'd have thought they coudl put together some proto's pretty quick and get something together before the end of next year... That's a total guess though! That's assuming something is happening. I've heard nothing yet.
  8. That's a bit weird. I guess if you can get away with changing the BB length then that would help but 127.5/128mm is pretty much standard for ISIS these days anyway. How does the spacing look with the rear wheel bolts loose? Does the frame 'pull in' much when you tighten the bolts up? Is it because your hub is 110mm spacing to allow for snail cams but with the Onza you don't need them?
  9. Yeah man, because George f**king Bush and Sarah f**kng Palin where such intelligent, useful additions to the gene pool. I was so disappointed no one managed to assassinate Bush. At least Obama actually has some brain cells to rub together although I guess that makes most white Americans feel stupid and inadequate. P.S. I'm guessing you were joking but all the points still stand, just aimed at all the other American retards .
  10. Unlucky (but welcome ). Why do Americans have to shout? Inside voice please .
  11. Hehe, stick with it! A nice high front end and shorter stem will transform the bike and definitely help with bunnyhops .
  12. My guess is the hackerzzz have their own forums and have now passed on the details of the server security to likeminded losers who are now 'playing'. Do you think he realises that he just spelt 'oened'? And there was me thinking that the proper interweb term was pwned (or pwn3d if you musst)?
  13. I've got the 90mm x 20degree EA50. Was one of the few stems of that sort of geometry that I could get for 31.8mm bars. I'm currently running loads of spacers too- probably about 25mm with Easton EA30 hi-rise bars. Bike has been sprayed since my last vid but I do have a couple of vids on Youtube.
  14. Sounds sketchy as!! I had the same problem trying to run a Magura Marta on the first Echo EM2 in the country back in ~2002. Tried everything I could but ended up just swapping the brakes for the original single piston Louises...
  15. It probably makes sense to do it yourself to start with. If it's acceptable in your eyes then stick with it. If you'd rather it have a tougher, more professional finish it'll still be easy enough to get it powder coated.
  16. I'd say slightly less annoying than the annoying American retards that frequent the real site...
  17. Why do people do that? I don't get it. The FBI, sure. The DVLA, sure. Tesco, McDonalds, GAP, sure. But some random biketrials website?
  18. So helpful yet so eloquent. Edit: Actually on second thoughts that's grammatically poor and completely pointless . Edit 2: Rebuilt rear wheel?
  19. How the blog displays for me (no, really):
  20. Easiest (cheapest) way to do it would be to spray it yourself. I've got a black Easton EA50 stem on my Inspired which I sprayed white with Halfords 'Appliance white' and then lacquered. It's finally starting to chip off (with abuse) but for less than a tenner I can hardly complain. You could get it powder coated but unless you know someone that does it it'll probably cost you £15+. Your call!
  21. But you're missing the point Dave. As someone with an eye for the aesthetic like yourself, if you were to decide to design say a camera that you knew was superior to anything out there but when you released it you made it look like a shoebox with a lens sticking out and had it painted in purple and green swirly hammerite paint it'd kinda be a bit stupid wouldn't it?
  22. Aaaaannnnd... welcome to 3 hours later .
