  1. Eggzilla says Raaar! I like your thinking- that would be sweet. You could have a family of Limey's...
  2. Damn you! Wrong answer . It worked for Christmas number 1...
  3. If it's not the colour you chose I hope you've negotiated a discount with the factory? Disc tabs? Excellent- everyone wanted them and you included them- doesn't make sense not to considering it's the way most frames are going these days, especially the top end compy frames. Weight- makes sense really. You just have to look at the comparable frames available on tarty at the moment to see that weight is a big thing and getting a nice balance of strength:weight is a basic requirement. Colour wise, I think as I said before, I'm guessing in person the frame alone probably looks ok, and the one with black rims built up by Captain Scarlet doesn't look too bad but again the graphics could've been designed to work with the lines of the frame a lot better (along the lines of what Seddon's done but with Onza logo's or whatever) and the pictures in the first post make it look like cheap and tacky, as a lot of people have said. I'm not alone in my opinion I'm just the one who's keeping at you trying to get a reasonable response. I'm starting (!) to get rude because I'm repeating myself over and over (along with comments from a lot of others in this thread (and that Cleaner)) and at no point have you or Mike taken a step back and said 'ok, maybe next time we'll make sure the frames come back the colour we ordered/we'll be having words with the factory/maybe we could spend a bit more time on graphics' Mike just keeps telling me Onza designed every frame in the world and you didn't even mention it wasn't the colour it was supposed to be until halfway through the thread... I've tried to be fairly constructive but this doesn't seem to have been taken on board in the slightest.
  4. Survey says... . Trialtech carbon.
  5. Does look quite fun although the actual snowskate boards have those ribs on the bottom to improve directional stability compared to a standard skate deck.
  6. The frame is generic? Again that has nothing to do with it. I'm talking purely aesthetics- colour and graphics. Both real weak points of Onza in my (and I'd guess quite a few others) opinions. That's a fact. And quoting a BMXer is completely pointless- have you seen some of the 'ghetto' piles of poo they ride? They actually deliberately make their bikes look crap for the sake of it. And also, there are massive differences between the sorts of people who ride, and the 'fashions' within trials and bmx. I'm sure if you showed him most of the current trials frames he'd tell you how shit they look but then show him an Inspired or that Czar 24" Ads has just built up and he might like it because it's closer to what BMXers relate to. Can you not concede that the likes of the T-Rex colour scheme could've been thought out a bit more carefully?! You say you can ask 100 people what colour a product could be? Well Joe asked about that in the Onza thread then IGNORED everyone who replied. This is like talking to a brick wall.
  7. Hehe . The way I see it, avoiding the 'mind altering' side of substances (which I'm just not interested in at all), you're left with something which is used in a social way- as you say "expansion of self and environmental awareness and the stimulation of laughter, feeling happy, etc." which is something which some people don't need drugs (or alcohol) to acheive. And Ash- alcohol tends not to cause major psychological episodes including hallucinations, paranoia, anxiety, confusion and can lead to depression and schizonphrenia in extreme cases (though don't quote me on that). It's also consumed into the lungs usually with tobacco which also means you're f**king up your long term health, fitness and lungs regardless of the effect of the drug itself.
  8. No Irony intended, maybe just a bit of humour. But they're never going to indicate any of the (questionable) positive effects that are they?! At the end of the day it's bad for you and illegal...
  9. Ooh, I like that! Didn't realise there was a sensible reason the dropouts were so weird- that's neat. Liking the colour too, especially with the white bits. Coulda one with white graphics too but that's just being anal .
  10. I vote for a giant dome over the country, similar to that used in the fact based documentary I saw a while back... ' The Simpsons somethingorother' I think it was called.
  11. I don't really think that would work either though... If you remove the Taliban (Sunni Islamic extremists) then they'll just be replaced by Shia's, Sufi's or whatever other evil Muslim psycho's the religion spawns. They will then continue to try and wipe out any remaining non extremist Sunni's by blowing themselves and anyone else who's around to the kingdom of Allah. Regardless, there's no reason why the UK should be involved.
  12. Medicinal use only in rare cirumstances. Everything else is illegal. The long term effects of Canabis use are far greater than alcohol. Haven't you seen the adverts?!
  13. Why do I get the feeling every single comment is falling on deaf ears? I don't give a shit about who came up with the concept of the design- you can keep preaching that about every frame out there 'til the cows come home. The point is that wherever the frame design came from, Univega, with zero history in trials, has made the bike look (aesthetically- we're talking colours and graphics mainly) a heap load better than anything you've produced in the last 10 years!! The best looking frames you've done are the prototypes which you then ruin by painting/anodizing them in poor choices of colours and putting on crap graphics when it comes to the production versions. It's being said again and again on here and YOU STILL DON'T LISTEN! The old T-Rex was a perfect example- I don't know of a single one who wasn't stripped and painted because of the crap black and chrome flame effect finish. Underneath was a nice frame which many people (myself included) loved but the rubbish aestheticss which would've been more at home on a bike aimed at a 5 year old did it no justice at all. Edit: Can I also bring your attention to this: Once again 100x better than standard and even how it should've been released in the first place!
  14. But the UK government should be spending the hundreds of millions of pounds sorting out drugs being imported and on the streets in the UK rather than getting people killed and invading another country to stop it at the source- I don't see that as any of our business. This whole thing is a throwback to the 9/11 attacks which, though 100% evil and f**ked up, this 'conflict' doesn't seem to have any link to.
  15. Tar does not an will not work in the wet. End of. Only options are not riding in the wet, harsh grind, different pads or change to disc brakes!
  16. To be perfectly honest I have no idea what we (you) are doing there. There seems to be no game plan, no goal or end in sight- just a whole lot of f**ked up religious wankers slowly blowing the country apart and taking plenty of innocent lives with them. Are you still trying to find Bin Laden or what?
  17. They were basically two 'marks' of the frame: Mark 1 was white, mark 2 had a few tweaks and was red.
  18. Nah, the Kamel's have a longer wheelbase and higher BB. They are a compy frame though so if you aren't very smooth or use your bash a lot then they won't last long... Having said that, Don't forget the 220 Kamel. I had my 221Pr for two years in which I used it in comps, on the street and generally abused it and it's still going strong with a second owner now. Seems like the top of the ranges are built silly light and so not as strong and the next one down (Pr or now the 220) can take a beating.
  19. The main thing when you're doing that after backwheeling something is making sure you land the up in a nice balanced backhop. That usually means keeping your weight a little bit further back than normal to counterbalance the momentum of the front wheel wanting to drop.
  20. Because it's silent it makes everything seem silky smooth. Also makes lots of sense if you ride in comps are in the wet etc. It'll feel weird to start with but once you learn to trust it and get the brake set up right dual disc rocks.
