  1. Yeah, seriously, don't mind me I'm just kinda anal about that sort of thing. As an aside, that post ^ is absolutely spot on and will get you validated far quicker .
  2. You should be able to pay someone instantly through Paypal using a credit or debit card. Why do you want to put funds in?
  3. Just sussed out that I can't do the 15th/16th either because I'm doing a demo at a VW show...
  4. Can we expect some of your new found BMX skills crossing over? Video ASAP please!!
  5. Ok, so what's so good about these compared to any othe pisspot? Is it just a bit smaller and lighter due to the lack of polystyrene shock absorption layer? Or is it like drugs in that they're only cool 'cos they're illegal?!
  6. But Ben, the soon to be ex prime minister called an elderly bigoted woman bigoted... That's, like, bigger news than a volcano grounding UK flights for a week. Can't you see the bigger picture?!
  7. Don't forget about (the possibility of) import duty and VAT if you do go own that route.
  8. Really nice chilled video. I really love the DSLR stuff with the limited depth of field stuff. One thing that didn't work for me though was when you switched to the Inspired. I was expecting it to be a nice transition to riding the 24" and starting a nice new 'chapter' to the vid but then after that shot you just went back to the 26" and that was that. Maybe that's just me hoping for an awesome 24" section to back up the 26" though!
  9. I don't get what's so offensive about 'Where' but each to their own I guess .
  10. Pitbull looks like a very good spec too. Are they comparable in price?
  11. You should just smite him with a plague of locusts or something. Smite him good.
  12. How are the threads in the frame? Chances are they may be screwed as well if the BB was cross threaded...
  13. Woo! I have a monster raving loony party candidate in my constituency! Result.
  14. Someone I know is a Navy helicopter pilot and he still takes his bike with him and occasionally gets out to play. Not sure if it's different if your a pilot though compared to a matlow...
  15. The whole thing with pedal ups (to back, none of this tapping nonsense) is that 90% of the power comes in the final 1/4 turn of the cranks. I learnt from watching Martyn Ashton and I roll in slowly with my good foot down with my weight low and arms and legs kinda coiled. At the right time (the first difficult thing to judge but with practice you'll get it) I'll start pedalling to get the front wheel up and as I do that I start to jump my body up. When my good foot is just coming into play that's when all the power comes in and you time your upwards explostion to coinside with that release of power. Once the bike's being accelerated upwards by your jumping and the crank power you need to pull the bike up under you and then throw it out in front of you to gain that extra height. Your best bet is to watch a slow motion replay of someone doing it to get your head round it. That's what I did with Martyn in Tricks and Stunts and it hasn't done me any harm .
  16. I think it's very much down to the individual. In my mind the Navy would be a very good career choice as far as money, pay, pension etc goes but I would never even remotely consider a career in the armed forces because for one I'd never be able to cope with the being bossed around all the time by some public school boy twat and I also wouldn't want to be involved in being the puppet for any foreign governments wars and invasions. But if you're cool with that and don't mind being away from home for months on end its a pretty sweet deal overall...
