  1. Think rim grinds but on pedals- just improves the friction between the pedal surface (and we're talking platforms here rather than caged) and your shoe. Between the pins is usually smooth and painted giving little grip- grinding just improves things.
  2. A faggot is a kind of meatball. Faggots are a traditional dish in the UK, especially the Midlands of England. It is made from meat off-cuts and offal, especially pork. A faggot is traditionally made from pig's heart, liver and fatty belly meat or bacon minced together, with herbs added for flavouring and sometimes breadcrumbs. The mixture is shaped in the hand into balls, wrapped round with caul fat (the omentum membrane from the pig's abdomen), and baked.
  3. Goodridge do a range of colours for their car (and I think motorbike) kits but only a few for their mountainbike range... I don't see why they couldn't do coloured MTB lines if they really wamted. Obviously it's just a coloured plastic sleeve but would still give the right effect.
  4. Or just don't use iTunes because it's the most annoying pile of poo in the world ever.
  5. That looks almost identical to how mine was cracked. I used a dremel to take the corner off and add a radius and it's been fine for 2 years+ now. Don't forget to do the other side at the same time to stop it cracking on the top.
  6. BMX spacing is 110mm. Trials hubs tend to be made to be 116mm spacing to allow for 3mm each side of cam chain tensioners. Except Monty of course who can be bloody awkward at times! So yeah, basically any hub you can get hold of should work but you may need some spacers/washers to meet the frame depending on your hub and tensioner setup.
  7. It can't have been Danny because he does stunts, not skids and wheelies.
  8. The streety 26" with a saddle is a Because Street.
  9. Haha, yup- that's who I was thinking of! Crazy low pressures...
  10. I've reported the first post to the powers that be to get it moved to Trials Chat. Bit more on pressure while I'm here- If I run my tires just hard enough not to get punctures, I find the tyres still bounce me around a bit too much, especially on cambered sections, so I tend to run them with a bit more air to keep the tyre more stable. Just preference really- I know people who have run their tyres so low that you can rim out just by compressing the bike with your body weight but that's just too low for me.
  11. I'd totally forgotten about that. I think it's safe to stand by my comment in that thread.
  12. Start at about 15psi and go from there. I run about 25psi in my Inspired and about 15-20 on my mod. Danny Mac runs 65psi and still gets loads of punctures so it's just whatever feels right for you.
  13. Quite surprisingly we didn't have a single puncture the entire way, and that's riding in the gutter most of the time where all the crap gathers. I didn't take much in the way of spares at all, though a good multitool and spoke keys definitely came in handy!
  14. Lazy. Shortened from 'typographical error'.
  15. It really isn't. It should be 'you're'. Where's Grammar Camel when you need him? Don't forget capital letters and full stops either. Drives me bloody nuts that does.
  16. I'm surprised no one's sussed it before to be honest... both Scottish, both with the same initials, both riding Inspireds. It's like no one realising Clark Kent's Superman just because he has glasses on.
  17. Not if the image has been uploaded to imageshack. In that case you have to use the right link that imageshack provides. I tend to use the 'Direct Link' one.
