  1. Those screws look rather 'special'... They remind me of those weird self tappers you get with DIY furniture! Surely they're not metric? In other news- no covers makes them so much more aesthetically pleasing! In otherother news- Trekking
  2. You see how the door opened on impact? That's a safety feature that is. Designed in by those fantastic frogs .
  3. Had a chat with a guy in Tesco the other day and he said that for some reason Tesco stores and Tesco Direct are actually different businesses, using different ordering systems and are effectively separate from each other. Obviously they would try and keep things apparently similar for the customer but it wouldn't surprise me at all if there were discrepancies.
  4. I'd say that stood up reasonably well. At 50 there's a massive amount of energy involved and cars are designed to absorb that energy as well as possible- making the cars look like they disintegrated. I'd rather be in a Saxo having an accident at 50 than a Smart car... Wow, really? Man that thing must be so weak and poorly made. I sure wouldn't ever buy one because of that.[/sarcasm]
  5. Danny runs about 60psi I believe. I run about 25 front and rear, any more and it feels too hard to me... and get fewer punctures than Danny does
  6. I don't even want to know what you're planning to do with it... Pretty sure there's not much (readily available) that would do what you want. Oil would do it but is smokey, petrol or llighter fluid might do it but you probably don't want to be playing round with that too much. What about those firelighter things- like white cubes that are soaked in kerosene or something and used to start coal fires or barbeques?
  7. Cool kids get mini's for their first cars...
  8. It's going fine until that point: When you've already decided that it's not going to work and your brain has decided to put your right foot down to save you. I used to ddo the same with skateboard kickflips. It basically comes down to mind over matter- just commit more as Leiston says and you'll get there. Not that I can do them of course but just sayin'!
  9. How many accounts do you want? I don't get it...
  10. You boys were so damn good back in the day! There's stuff in there I still haven't (can't?!) done (do)! Someone's going to have to explain the Steve Maultby/Dave thing...
  11. I thought all football clubs were hundreds of millions in debt and a complete financial farce...
  12. They do say that the average 'payback' works out at something along the lines of 4-5% which puts it fairly equal with ISA rates, though I'm sure there are plenty of people who get far less than that to make up for the one a month 'winning' a million.
  13. Inspired and Onza have a dealer in Oz- Expressive Bikes Tel. 0411 609 115. It looks like Onza also have a dealer in NZ called Syms.
  14. Sounds like you're pretty much sorted! From your riding background I'd say a 24" would be very suited to you and also flexible enough to let you practice trials for the moto on it while also letting you play with the more streety/jumpy stuff your used to on bicycles. From what I've heard the Zoot is a really good buy and would be well suited to what you want however also consider the new range of Inspired completes which will be available in the near future. I think they may well give the Zoot a run for its money!
  15. I haven't repaired a tube for about 9 years now so it's all about the cheapness on the 24". Usd to be 79p Kenda's from Trago Mills but only got down there once or twice a year so now tend to use Tesco 90% of the time. I do have some fat Echo 19" ones for the back of the Zoo though.
  16. Absolutely. I always take a bag with Crank and BB tool, pedal spanner and a set of allen keys with me (plus pump and tube). Certain things like pedals and cranks will destroy themselves if they come loose so it's always worth checking them regularly.
  17. Is it new/old, trials/normal? Also what tensioner are you using, how much chain wrap do you have, how worn is the drivetrain etc.
  18. That's quite random positioning of the white/green boundaries if I may say... Looks different but not to my tastes.
  19. Pretty sure they are the same but pretty sure you can't get them separately...
  20. I'm so very, very happy for you.
  21. Arson is always an option... Though probably best to retrieve the bikes beforehand.
  22. Was anything insured? Did any of them have any distinguishing features? Any record of frame numbers or anything?
  23. LOUD NOISES! Were the bikes insured?...
  24. Just a quick note to say that anyone's welcome, no licenses are required and that entry is £7 which includes the BBQ. Any profits will be going to the British Heart Foundation (for those of you who don't know Terry Graves who organises the series had a heart attack last year). Finally, for those of you who know Terry and the HBTC series, this will be the final event organised by Terry and Hazel for the foreseeable future and as such we're planning to make a collection to get a little something in thanks for the effort the Graves' have put in over the past 10+ years. If anyone wishes to donate something let me or Luke know and we'll sort things out. Anyhoo, I shall be there fo sho.
