  1. Ah gotcha, I thought that's might be what you meant but wasn't sure. They're actually different forks (rather than having been sprayed by me) so I'm just going to leave them for now as it's a proper powder coat job at present.
  2. Sorry, you lost me there- which bit do you mean? Other acceptable answers are white forks and Hope Grip Doctors.
  3. Physically bent. In theory hydroforming will increase the stiffness of a given tube compared to a plain tube.
  4. I'd say it depends on the sort of riding. A stiff frame is ideal for technical comp riding and gives you full confidence in wheel placement and instant power transmission but won't necessarily be overly 'comfortable'- it would be a sharp tool, built for a purpose. However, for a more rounded frame for use on streets and just general trials riding, I think a degree of flex is both forgiving (to components and the body) and also more 'comfortable'. Obviously you don't want it being so flexy so as to be unstable but a little 'give' in certain directions wouldn't be bad. I guess that's part of the reasoning behind curvy tubes- a very stiff rear end for instant power transmission and confidence on the back wheel but flex and a little 'give' up front.
  5. He should learn to go from two wheels...
  6. Ooooollldddd. His leg waving when he clearly doesn't need it annoys me. Julien Dupont effteedoubleu.
  7. Sooo... you're saying I can wear polyester and cotton at the same time without fear of my neighbour stoning me to death? That's good .
  8. The book of Genesis might disagree with you there.
  9. Have you seen those Russian pics Ben?! But seriously, riding a bike: bit of an adrenaline rush, keeps you fit, can occasionally make people go 'ooh, that's cool, how do you do that?', can be likened to Danny Mac. What's depicted in that picture: rather pointless, rather weird and will occasionally make people call the police and or mental asylum.
  10. Note it's actually £12 posted not £12+P&P. Looks good enough to drink*. *Probably best not to though.
  11. Yup, No idea how he did it but it is non-uniform and incredibly realistic!
  12. I'm speechless- that is totally awesome! Loving the attention to detail of it all.
  13. Is it as geeky and pointless as I imagine it to be in my head? Not trolling as such, just considering the fans who sit painting those weird little figurine things and go to conventions dressed up as characters. Seems a bit... y'know ... to me.
  14. Or do it the lazy way and rotate a picture in Microsoft Office Picture Manager (or similar) and rotate until it's vertical (or horizontal, whatever floats your boat) on the screen. Edit: Quick and dirty using the first picture in your post (which looks like it starts with the bike most level) Seems closer to 70.5 rather than 73.5.
  15. It's fairly standard for mod though. So yeah, best bet is to get your bike set up dialled and then practise to improve strength and timing to make the most from any input you give the bike.
  16. I'd read that but didn't know if it'd still need to be unlocked or not. Will try the Giffgaff sim when it arrives. Anyone used Giffgaff?
  17. Ah, fair enough. Most of my skip riding has been done with them upside down (motorbike trials riders don't like them the right way up as much it seems!). Cars are good for hooking... and the public like them because they can relate better to the scale I think.
  18. I keep telling myself that it was £9.97... the rest was paid for by doubled up Tesco vouchers which in turn were 'paid for' by spending probably £5k on furniture and stuff for our new house. So yeah, £9.97. Honest.
