  1. So the Yanks have apparently raided a compound in Pakistan and killed Osama Bin Laden. Will it make any difference to the continuation of Al Qaeda's operations? will it result in some counter strikes from his supporters? Will there be any questions to be answered on Pakistan's front seeing as it would appear he has been living in a mansion in some major town... Discuss...
  2. 13 year old hanging round street corners at 2230 on a school night? What's the world coming to? Edit, also loving the quote...
  3. Too small for a car (unless it's a very small RC car) so I'm gonna go with some kind of micro/macro air vehicle maybe...
  4. Without meaning to be rude it does seem somewhat over-engineered yet under-designed... Can't help feeling it could be simplified a good deal while also using more sensible dims but then I don't know the background to it.
  5. Excellent reasons JQ! I've ridden a few demos with her at Beaulieu and she seems really down to earth and a genuinely nice lass. Not bad on a bike either!
  6. They do exactly what they need to. It's not like opening a bank account/taking out a loan or whatever is going to be an impulse buy... I would expect most people to sus out exactly what they're getting before signing up. I'm actually quite impressed that wonga.com (or whatever it's called) are quite clear that the effective APR of their loans is over 3500%.
  7. Since he's talking about pairs I'm assuming we're talking horizontal dropouts and either chain tugs or snail cams. If you could upload a pic of the setup you're using someone will be able to help.
  8. Looks like it deserves a black front mudguard... Very nice though!
  9. Wait, you don't get a personal visit from Adam? No way!
  10. Just run a disc... Or go brakeless. One or t'other!
  11. I think it depends how much you plan to use it... I never had an issue but can imagine that if you used it hard for a long time it might cause problems with both the dropout and chainstay.
  12. I ran a peg on the rear of mine for a while but ended up not using it enough so removed it. I turned up a replacement steel axle for my Echo hub which had proper 10mm nuts on the end to strengthen the setup up.
  13. That makes some sense for motorcycle trials but doesn't hold for roadbikes and motorcycles in general. In those cases you could quite easily ride with the brake and clutch the other way round (if given time to get used to it). So yeah, it comes from the side of the road we drive on originally I believe but in my mind makes sense when you consider motorcycles as well.
  14. Wow. Ali is just incredible! If I had a tenth of his vision and imagination with lines I'd be a very happy man! I really hope he can push for some full on sponsorship along the lines of what Danny's managed- he deserves it so much! Overall an awesome video, but pleeeease let me know next time you're hitting Bristol or something as I need these rides in my life!!
  15. It's clearly the rest of the world that has it wrong. On motorbikes the front brake is on the right- and that doesn't change from country to country...
  16. I thought he was going for locktite the BB threads and grease the splines... could be wrong though!
  17. So only threads you've viewed previously? Or ones you've posted in?

Really like that- is it oil?
  19. Can you imagine the mess a manual plasma cutter would make of the design? I think your assumption of NC/CNC is most likely correct...
  20. Sooo... what should it do? Never used it before.
  21. What do people think about including a 'views' counter? Not sure if it's of much use to anyone but the seller I guess. Still think feedback on the advert pages would be a good idea.
