  1. So I decided to stealth my 2015 Works SCR a bit as previously there was a LOT of green (grips, pedals, bash guard, chain guide, stickers (frame, shock and forks), valve caps, saddle... You get the idea!). Have the paint to turn her sandy beige but couldn't be bothered with the strip so just put the black stickers on the army green (not great!) paint for now. Quite like it and will leave it like this for the time being! Brackets are 3D printed and fit the battery for my light, keeping it snug. BB mount iscg plate with the one up guide and 3D printed bash guard.
  2. Saw this and thought of you!
  3. Sweet! What are your plans for it in terms of use?
  4. So I've downloaded WiFi Analyser and set the 2.4GHz to a specific channel. I've also turned off the 5GHz transmission to force things to use the 2.4GHz as I don't think all our devices are 5GHz compatible... Thanks for the advice all! If we still have prpoblems I'll look into a powerline adapter.
  5. Ok, not strictly a computer geek question (well, it kinda is)... My wifi router spits out both 2.4GHz and 5GHz signals. If I turn off the 5GHz access point, will the 2.4GHz signal be any stronger? My wife's having some 'poor broadband' connection issues in our office even though we're now on NOW superfibre which should be up to 63Mbps... I just did a speed check and it reckoned she was seeing 37Mbps but something's not quite right and her audio's dropping out in Teams (not cool as she's a teacher giving lessons!). Any thoughts?! Edit: I should point out that switching to a wired connection really isn't going to be easy due to the location of the BT point and router.
  6. Just double check that one of the sides doesn't give the equation for dark matter before tidying up, yeah?
  7. Magnus Crescent . Looks good! I'm amazed houses are so cheap in Glasgow! That would probably be twice as much in Bournemouth!! I'd probably keep the garden as it is and use one of the basements as a workshop. Save the room for kids to play in (or a trials course if you're not looking at the patter of little feet any time soon!).
  8. How has it got two basements?!!
  9. That's awesome news. I honestly can't remember if I put anything in or not but brilliant to hear!
  10. A lot of that is just confidence. Bunnyhopping onto something with both wheels is the 'natural' feeling way as the bike is level and (should be) under control. To go to rear it's just a case of putting more effort into throwing the bike in front of you up the object. It's one of those things that actually becomes easier on higher things than low. If you try to bunnyhop to rear on a curb the geometry isn't really right to throw the bike and keep it to rear but once you get to something maybe two feet tall it gets to the stage that the effort required to bunnyhop to rear makes sense and the geometry works in your favour.
  11. Wow! Looks like you've pretty much doubled the size of the place! Think our extension was about £40k (builders doing all the work) and we only got three extra rooms above the existing garage/utility room. Good work! Shame it's in Liverpool. I kid, I kid!
  12. I'm happy I never really got into consoles/gaming. I have a PSone and a PS2 that I rarely play and I'm quite happy not feeling the need to spend £500 on a new console and £60 a game thereafter!
  13. Congrats dude. Still jealous of the palm trees!!
  14. What the actual f**k is going on here? Does nobody write their own essays anymore? And why does no one spam the forum offering any other service except bloody essay writing? Is it really that big a market? Where's the fakeID services, fake friends for FB, Instagram etc. services? Diversify damnit!
  15. I really don't get adult birthday/xmas presents... I'm 38 years old, if I want/need something I buy it. I don't need no damn charity!! [/miserable,ungrateful old b*****d].
  16. You haven't met my kids... They'll make a nice place shit in about 3 seconds...
  17. Behind the scenes up now. Shows a bit more of the extremeness of the terrain.
  18. Some frames have slotted mounts to account for the wheel moving, others (not in trials that I've seen) have the wheel and brake mount on a separate bracket so that they move together. I've never really had any issues and most brake setups will let you off with an element of 'mismatch'.
  19. Horizontal dropouts will usually end up with a simpler, lighter and more compact setup because you can just use integrated tugs or snail cams rather than having a mechanism with springs, pulleys etc. Obviously if you use a hacksaw blade with a bit of moulded/3D printed plastic or whatever that difference becomes minimal. Traditionally vertical dropouts came from running mechs and gears on small mountainbike frames and that kind of stuck on stocks (do we still use mod and stock?) until fairly recently. These days manufacturers seem to be picking up on neat integrated tensioners and bolt through axles which is nice to see.
  20. That was one of the reasons we extended our current place. I don't even understand how it's posible to move in one day and the stress, effort and money involved just didn't make sense. I'd love a detatched place but seeing as we'll have paid off the mortgage in a few years I think we'll just stick where we are now probably until the kids have left home and we're ready to downsize. Like Luke we jumped a rung or two by going from renting a 2 bed house to buying a 3 bedroom semi with garage, garden etc. With the extension it's now effectively a 5 bedroom though for now the boys are still happy sharing which means one 'bedroom' is a toy room and the other is set up as an office while also having a spare bedroom. Local schools are good and it works for both of our jobs so no point moving in the foreseeable future.
