  2. Really? I can't stand Apple but can see that he was in charge of the company when it put out some pretty innovative products but I wouldn't go that far. As an aside, how involved actually was he in the concept/design of products like the iPod or did one of his guys come up with the concept and he then managed to promote it very efficiently to all the 'cool' people in the world? Edit: Come to think of it, for geezer with personal wealth in excess of £5 billion and a company worth over £200 billion, the fact he surely that raises some questions over the ethics behind him/his associations...
  3. I'd go for the Trialtech if I were you. The benefits of a dual-wheel type sprung tensioner definitely outweigh the anything you gain with the Echo one in my view.
  4. Ah, cool beans. Looking at the pics I've found with the reservoir cap removed it certainly looks like cast ally.
  5. As opposed to...? No first hand experience but I'd be 99.9% confident that they'll have an ally body.
  6. It's just a random picture taken off of Google.
  7. I concur. Doesn't look like the BB's been out (ever?!) to check if it's actually through the shell or not...
  8. I think the issue with warranty is that the chain must've been hitting since the bike was built. Nothing has changed or failed, except you failing to notice the issue ! I'd have thought hub flange spacing is as much of an issue as freewheel spacers too- I know flange spacing and so chainline is certainly not constant between different hubs so would also affect things. As has been suggested, flip your 12T cog round (might need a couple of shims to space it out a little depending on the hub, chain and sprocket) and use a freewheel spacer and the frame will probably last without any problem. Well, it'll eventually break somewhere but I doubt it will be where the chain's been rubbing. Edit: *cough*
  9. Found on Facebook. Quite picturesque but not as much trialsy stuff as with the likes of Chris Ackrigg's vids. Interesting he's on GT's as well...
  10. I've always been a strong supporter of Lewis but this season he just seems to be making too many unforced errors and actively causing too many accidents. Yesterday with Massa was completely avoidable and just plain stupid from a driver of his standard. In this instance I can certainly see where Massa's coming from.
  11. Are you sure it's not a scratch?!
  12. Success within the small mountainbiking world in which he was (in my opinion) massively outshone by Martyn... Which kinda, dare I say it, sums up his trials career. I honestly don't think he'd have done nearly as much or been nearly as 'popular' if his name hadn't been Martin or if he simply hadn't hooked up with Martyn.
  13. Spark eroding is easy and really cheap... well, it is when you know someone who knows someone and work at a university! M8 tap snapped deep inside my motorbike front axle and they did an excellent job of it and all for a bag of doughnuts!
  14. I've never, to my knowledge, had the 'manual dream' however I did have the 'fakie nose roll' dream the other night where I finally got them dialled!
  15. I'm missing the bit describing how it would piss her off or have any effect on your mate. If they've sold the house it's the new owners and the dad who you'll be screwing over surely... It would be their solicitor not doing his job if he didn't sus out and clearly explain access limitations imposed due to your land ownership...
  16. Update/change your browser?
  17. I got that first time but you have to stop counting at the right point! If you start counting at 9 o'clock you have to stop at the one before 3 o'clock to get the right answer.
  18. As Johnny said, you count the number of spokes. You only need to be able to see half of one flange to sus it out.
