Lol to the autocorrect! Don't think I could cope with the drop bars on that! Sprung tensioner/old mech plus a dropper would be on my list too. So long as you enjoy it though!

The full 25min film that's on the RedBull site is worth a watch. Those slams on the roof drop thing are savage. Also some clips of Mr MacAskill too. https://www.redbull.com/gb-en/films/kriss-kyle-out-of-season?fbclid=IwAR3zm2lAfUoJ7z_RK2qUeXkYmVhmoN0kuUuFrOUenwq1_NnRZZBftpRd0iU Edit: Note the first 5 minutes is just the edit.

In my mind there's something very different buying something physical like the Mona Lisa that was painted by da Vinci because the original is very definitely unique and special. Anything that is available in its entirity online as a digital item (picking on the dancing banana .gif again) is not only available as an exact, original item across the entire internet but could also be exactly replicated from scratch in a matter of hours as it's just a collection of pixels (and not many at that). I can understand the Beeple thing more as it seems he puts a lot of work into each piece and assuming the 'buyer' effectively received terrabites worth of original files in all their detail (and assuming that what was posted online was only ever a compressed version of the original pieces) then the buyer is at least getting something that's not in the public domain. I guess the basball card analogy works better, again assuming that the number of certain versions are very much limited in number and are only available to the 'owners' not also posted on Youtube or whatever.

I tried signing up for a Coinbase account when the Dogecoin thing was going a bit daft but over a month later it was still confirming my ID so I f**ked that off and am now happily accepting that it's all over my head and I can't really be arsed!

I'm so confused by this NFT thing. So Beeple's work was all available free, in the public domain yet someone paid £69M for it? Who even owns the dancing banana .gif to sell? Again it's all over the internet and completely in the public domain and available for anyone to 'have', so why pay $10,000 to 'own' it? Unless you're going to try and license it and charge people to use it (impossible) I see no value in something that's in no way unique or saleable. f**kin' hipsters I tell you.

Wow, that really is a huge difference. And echoing what others have said, considering the generally lazy, shit job most estate agents do how can they possibly defend that?!
-
What's the comparable cost for selling? I've only ever bought (and not looking to move any time soon!) but interested to know how much it costs with traditional agents vs. things like PB.

Looks like fun! Just need to get some gold decals for the rims

I've seen a load of auctions recently that were selling, ended then somehow are relisted and I can only assume it's people playing silly buggers not getting what they wanted. I'm yet to be stung myself but it's defininitely a dick move.

Yeah I'd been delierately avoiding it, assuming that it would just be some nonsense glitzy crap about how fantastic F1 drivers are but it's actually really quite insightful. I'd hate to think how much Netflix must've paid for the access they've got...

More entertaining to watch than Formula E in some ways but all a bit pants. Watched some of the qualifying and lost interest when they started handing our 175 second penaties for speeding in the (completely empty) changeover area and 25 second penalties for leaving the changeover area 0.5 seconds early. Races were pretty much over after the second corner due to visibility. Also, anyone understand the format? What was the difference between the semi-final and the CRAZY RACE? Definitely a bit meh.

Silver doesn't really match anything on the rest of the car. With the black screen surround and roll hoop etc. I'd definitely go dark.

I assume they're sealed cartridge bearings in those? Edit: Apparently not. Replacement IGUS bearing required? https://www.dropbox.com/s/bi7mdyrcyc5a8zs/Stamp 7 %26 11 Overhaul.pdf?dl=0

I'm gonna guess 58mm but could be wrong... https://www.mountainbikecomponents.co.uk/product/58bcd-5-arm-inner-9-10-speed-triple/ Considered 'compact granny': https://sheldonbrown.com/cribsheet-bcd.html

Anyone else just not get Vittorio?

Man I have paid so little attention to F1 recently... Didn't know Carlos was at Ferrari, Ricciardo was at McLaren or Perez was at RB. Never even heard of Yuki... In other news I've started watching the F1 Drive to Survive series on Netflix which is quite well done, a good reminder of what went on a few years ago and reigniting some interest in F1.

Another option(?): https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/3654078664685174/?ref=search&referral_code=marketplace_search&referral_story_type=post&tracking=browse_serp%3A2dc68673-cdfd-4b13-ad06-9209fed78a91

And that's exactly why the likes of Hans Rey, Jeff Lenosky and Ryan Leech have spent like 90% of their careers riding fairly traditional looking bikes that the general public can relate to. Even Danny Mac seems to be spending more time on his full sus MTBs than on his trials bikes recently (while keeping both the masses and more trials oriented viewers happy).

I imagine size will come into play but to some extent, or rather radius, planetary rotation and axis of rotation... assuming you want to model a point on your planet as an observation point and how the satellite is visible as that point versus time. I think that's the bit that will cause the biggest headache!

What is it you're trying to simulate? If I remember correctly he majority of the equations involved are surprisingly simple but it obviously depends on how many bodies you're dealing with as to how complex it becomes.

I just got a pair of Brand-X ones for the Whyte to replace the Maxles and don't see them causing a problem. One thing to note (though a neat feature) is that both ends have a 6mm hex in them so you can use two allen keys at once to aid install/removal. But also as Ad said I thought it was standard for them to have some awkward adjustment system built in!
-
I had a look at those a little while back and I confused myself as to what they actually should be... there are two options- one is to have two axle spacers, 3mm each and then a 3mm disc spacer which obviously doesn't require the wheel re-dishing but equally I'm not sure the derailleur would end up in the correct place. The second option is one 6mm spacer to run on the non-drive side and then a 6mm disc spacer but this of course means the wheel would need to be re-dished.

It's a Chris King unfortunately and I don't think they do any kind of conversions kits. I'm sure I could make it work with spacers but I don't think I can be bothered with the faff if I were to get a flat out on the trail.
