  1. Some arty riding pics, nothing big for now till the wheels bed in: 90 hop up to front balance x-up Holyroller power yo!
  2. My front brake: BB7 caliper, 180mm rotor, slic cable well lubed, SD7 lever. Perfect. I was origianly just using this brake while i save up for a hydraulic but no need to BB7 is the best cable pull disc brake ive ever used, when set up square and true with a good quality cable and lever its just a really light pull and bang instant lock and bite with good hold too! Reccommended!
  3. No both 24" lol and no i didnt put the trialtech sticker on to be wannabies haha i just thought it would look cool Yeah steerer tube is a bit shorter than the original but ordering a trialtech 25 degree stem so should sort it out Pretty much only cranks, stem and headset are original. Cheers for all the nice comments guys!
  4. Usually the longer bit goes at the bottom, but pics would help try explain what you're on about.
  5. So Santa was good to me...... went for an unusual colour to stand out from the crowd EDIT: Santa did not bring the forks lol
  6. I know that personal preference is all it boils down to particularly with custom frames but i just thought that was the trend nowadays with the likes of the Hex and even your old Marino frame but i stand corrected course im getting more familliar with the more modern 24" frames so i cant really compare the geo of those to 26's. I am told having bigger wheels effectively raises the bb? And what other factors differ if you took two frames with similar geo but only one is 24" and one is 26"?
  7. Well yes that is old fashioned but thought the thing today was to have an old skool/new skool mix on geo if you get me like something tradtional but with wb more like 1030 or 1040 and a bit more lift on the bb
  8. 24" is also a good all round bike for everything, hoppy, more trials stuff and also the more flowy street stuff if you want to mix it up with some style. The Zoot is a good bike for getting into the 24" scene, good geometry for everything and is simple to maintain with its ffw and horizontal dropouts and simple v-brakes
  9. 1025 seems a bit short for a 26" frame, maybe its just me being old fashioned
  10. I would have bought it off you when i had the cash lol....instead i decided to spend it on improving my bike i wouldnt have minded the broken disc mount, id be running maggy anyway. Now ive decided i'll stick with a streety bike for now
  11. Yes a bit more practice needed me thinks other side is a bit more consistant though and yes i do have two different pads in those pics haha
  12. Ah yes i was going to say isnt that your old frame? I could have done you a deal on that but never mind
  13. And i need to get myself up to the central belt area sometime early in the new year
  14. Does it matter much about the direction of the grind (i.e. in relation to the direction the wheel will be spinning) or is it just pure technique?
  15. I thought that was just a special shiny paint
  16. Get some pics anyone know the geo of these frames? looks quite long for a normal streety 24"
  17. Why..just why? obviously wasnt a great seller then, thats why ive never seen one before. Still being produced?
  18. Great video it pretty much sums up modern day street trials riding.
  19. Haha cheers, quick reply im guessing it was never sold on these shores then?
  20. Looking for something totally unrealated on Google images i stumbled across this 24" bike and its something ive never seen before, looks to have disc mounts on the rear and has some funky gusseting around the seat area and kinda remeniscent of some Monty or Onza frames. Anyone shed some light on what this may be? (perhaps a prototype Monty 24"?)
  21. Keep up man, you never see bmx riders wearing a lid -.- its not street enough
  22. I kept passing by this thread thinking why on earth does someone want a pic of a froznen Maggie? Im now glad i clicked on here in the end cause this has got to be the best thread ive ever seen on any forum, gave me the biggest laugh of the year....well nearly . And yet someone mentioned in the Chit-Chat section that there is no more TF banter nowadays, they better stand corrected
  23. Rab Shropshire sold me one off here, apparently its quite a rare Magura one thats designed for the evo mounts.
