  1. Hello, I had a mission compo, i really loved it. It is great for a beginners bike and really easy to learn on. However the geo is not the best because it has a really really low bottom bracket rise. This is not good because it make thing harder, especially when riding natural. Willis x
  2. Alrte m8, I gap the way you were told, i have just started doing this only about 2 months ago. It is really hard at first and i kept flicking my back wheel into the ground, this was because i was taking off too far on the corner or edge of the wall. Because of this i tried to go back to the way i used to gap but just could'nt make my self and every time i gapped i felt my self trying to take off from the corner again. However i kept practicing and now i can get it everytime and dont worry about flicking down now. So basically stick at it and eventually you will find your way. willis x
  3. Loved that video showed the whole trip i thought it was ace! 10:58 was funny haha, that lads reactions
  4. Hello....I personally beilve that learning on 20" is easier, they are lighter and your can throw the bike round easier. However, maybe your strength could play a good part in this because you could find it just as easy on a 26" bike if you have a bit on beef on you. Maybe see if you could visit a shop and try both sizes out? willis
  5. HARSH!! I run water in my maguras and have had no problem with it. I have previously used oil and if you split your pipes or cross over there is oil everywhere, it isnt very nice and apparently peals the paint work off. If you split your pipes when running water, you dont get all the mess you do with oil. Also water reacts quicker on the pull of the leaver. But obviously water will do something to the pistons such as slow them down. willlis x
  6. Haha ok mike That shop from concett is called geared 4. They do sell fully built bikes not sure on the makes or where it is because i have only rode concett a hand full of times. however i do no it is not far from the bus station....thats all i know am affraid I also know dentons cycles is a good shop and have seen some trials cranks in there before, however not sure if they sell bikes?
  7. dont get a monty they are really weak...along with all there parts i would recomend something with a short wheelbase...onza bikes ride really nice on natural, depends how much you are looking to pay
  8. personally i would have: white rims, black hubs, black spoks, maybe blue nipples, white bars, black cranks, black stem with trials tech pedels would be a dazzeler i think willis x
  9. thanks for the comments so far
  10. i live in durham, but my dad lives just off the coast road. i am not sure of any shops in and around newcastle who cater for trials, however there is a shop who sells bikes in concett, not sure of the name but i could find out?
  11. hello m8y i ride newcastle all the time!!! i live at durham but theres always a hand full of riders out on a weekend from concett and durham, quite a few riders come up from darlington and northallerton sometimes too! theres loads of places to ride like....wer abouts in newcastle are you from? willis x

  14. well i would 100% sure say gu 08....however i snapped mine in half at the down and top tubes if i knew how to upload a pic i would show you but the geo on the gu 08 is soo nice i improved loads when i got mine my m8 has a czar and i personally think the bb hight is too low for the length where as the gu is just right so choose the gu xx
  15. riding in general helps build your whole body strength up, when its hurting, then u no its working. another thing which would help is bouldering, in this you are basically lifting your whole body weight. it also uses pritty much all the muscle in your body. that has helped me quite a bit. stay off the protein shakes, they just add weight and iff you are not lifting weights, they are useless and will only make you fat. willis x
  16. yer am pritty sure hes 12 rode with him a few times when warming up at trials beest for his age!!! i agree with sam....stick to 20" in trials!
