I land with both my brakes on when i am going bigger, sometimes rolling your side hops out makes you loose balance, its all personal prefference really!

sounds a good idea to me like! just cost and how to get there....also you should make it longer than just a weekend, so then people can get there and settle there before rushing off to ride straight away, to me packing this all in one weekend is going to be hard!!!

If its still under warranty then you should get another frame!! I would get onto them straight away!!! Doesnt matter how much you rode it or what ever, you still should get another frame. However trials-uk are rather shite as i am sure you aware, so i would possibly ring them and see if you can go with your dad and again pick another replacement frame up!

Well apparently heating it up does help because it will expand the sprocket, which should make it easier to turn off. I cut up a pair of old handle bars and have stook them on the end of a wrench i have, it gets anything off! the bigger the bar the better!

Yo, my frame cracked in pritty much the same place but mine was due to a dent. However, i got my frame welded and it lasted about 3 months, was really pleased with it, however sure enough it recracked and eventually snapped. But if i were you i would fully recoment getting it welded! If the crack is that bad, it will snap in half soon, thats what mine was like when it snapped.

personal preferance but a mod with a short ish wheelbase

i know this is a bit daft, and you probs wont have time, but my friends dad made a tool. basically its hard to explain but theres two circular plates and there are several bolts which fit into the teeth and then nuts tighten them up, so the plates are stuck to the sprocket/freewheel, then all you need is a wrench and a massive bar on the end of it!!!

Hmm it will be weaker than the origional weld, however it will be a little stronger than if it was just a random crack in the middle of the stay. If you get it heat treated it will be even better. Can you not get onto who ever you bought the frame off and see if you could get any discount of another neon frame? or even get one for free?
