    Hydroxx Stock

Ah, I see. So stupid of them! I had that problem with both side on my Yaabaa stinger becauseof awkward chainstay lengh. Does it happen even with a stretched chain? Try to move the wheel a little bit left of centre so it's lower? I recommend to get it running with full link chain or atleast 1 half link. Tobi - half link chain will kill you!

Was this Hugh B's old one? Looks ace. Strange that you are having problems with chain tension/alignment unless you are running some strange and not typical stock gearing. I think my rockman slate 2 is the closest thing to this frame's design/geo and I did not have a single problem using 18-15.

    Rockman Bikes News

1 out of a 1000 is definetly better than 1 out of 10. I never had a single skip with mine!
  4. Wait. This sounds familiar! That looks great! I find bike helps me to relax and forget about everything else when I am concentrated on the objective!
  5. I think the frame quality are definetly great. Although the new tapered design will make fork replacement an issue, that's if you want disc or you snape the ones that come with. It's a question if rockman are planning to sell the tapered forks, would be silly if they did not! I have the slate 2 in silver and loving the blue flame graphics
  6. I have tryed drilling the easyout, and you are right, there is no use. Not sure how long is going to take to cut. Should not be too long as its m15 thread. Will be doing that on tuesday now
  7. So drilled the hole in the bolt, took me about good 40min! Got the easyout it (fairly good quality) and it was 8mm one. Went in prety well, got tight, this is whn I got a bit scares of it snapping, still went for it and snapped the f'in b*****d! Any ideas of how to solve this?
  8. I think Spode said they are coming round 2 now. And I will need to fix my bike before I come, that's if I manage to fix it!
  9. Steel. Stock trialtech bolt. That sounds like a plan! *Update. We have some of these where I work by another name of "screw extractor". Thanks again J. Bonham!
  10. Hi. I was trying to do a bit of work/service on my BB, took non drive side bolt, that was a little bit tight, the drive side bolt was incredibly tight and I managed to round the the bolt. After was tring to make a little cut along the crank bolt and use something long and flat to undo it. The little pieces on the side snapped of in the end with no luck. I did put new BB about two month ago and gave it a clean last month and everything was fine. Would there be any ideas of how I can get this b*****d off? I am considering new BB again and drive side crank if there is no way to do it without damaging those parts. What is the easiest way i that case. Cutting the axle would take a bit of time! Thanks in advance!
  11. Andy and Spode are coming sunday as well.
  12. I know most people are riding on saturday, but I can't, so thought maybe there are more people like me that are willing to come ride on sunday. It is going to be really warm up to 14 degrees! Give me a shout!
  13. What is up with "training"? Do you ever ride for fun?
  14. Hope are definetly the way forward for mods. Alot more hold than any other brakes - rim or disc.

    Fans/slate

Well I have only ridden and riding slate 2 out of two of them. I am loving the frame, very stiff and brake feels amazing too. Had it for more than a year now, still going strong.

    World Cup

I have nothing against young comp riders in those videos, would be nice if we could actualy see some interesting lines, that's all. +1

    World Cup

Videos were prety poor to be honest, second being slightly better. DId I see Marc Caisio talking to Giacomo in the end? He was smiling too! Shame no footage of elite english-men in there that were participating.
  18. Looks great. Just switch the hoses around and you will have an english type brake.
  19. Good riding ad stuff, but I definetly prefered the previous ones. Better edit and footage. Especialy the one with Benito Ros
  20. oh my god! Look at that thing! It looks even longer than mod stem! That does remind me of vinco too... Back to the future? LINK! And he is running those proto carbon forks again?
  21. Why everyone is talking about how they look like. Nice, simple frame shape, simple colour - probably a perfect comp owning machine! Its what's inside that matters!
  22. I am guessing increased frame life and stiffness
  23. Would be great if they made 70% reduction in price for 2010 models
  24. And what about the semi-internal headset? Will there only be one type that would go into that kind of headtube? Surely not!
