  1. If there is a thread - it is a sceew on. After using it with a sproket they are bast*rd to get of. So I recommend to get a splined one. It's a shame that they dont do old echo 07 fixed that I have with no tensioners which was fairly cheap and lasted me 3 years + There is a SL version though, go for it if you got the money!

Repost, but still a nice video! I had it on my PC as well.
  3. I loled at the video, but the song was ok.
  4. Prety good video I loved the bit when doing a taleship on the thin wooden bit. Some big things too! Editing was simple and good, how I like it.
  5. Hi, I am looking for a grinder and dont know which one to go for, one at wilkinsons and argos looks ok but they are 4.5". Wouldn't it be better to go for 9" one as it can grab more surface? Tartybikes grind has not been reveled either. I loved the grind from tarty i got on my rim, but keep getting thin and smooth grinds with the grinder at work. Maybe it would be a better idea to go for a grinder with adjustable speed (RPM) and bigger dics?

You can still teach the techniques! I though the video was well edited, rider is great too!
  7. Hope. Using one myself, lovely brake.

That was great! Just a bit short video though!
  12. HI! I have the same problem. II have been riding for almost 3 years now. And sidehops were the hardest thing to do. Once I nailed the technique I was going higher every week. But the I stoped at round 80 +- 10cm. Coud not do anything higher for months! And like you we have not got lot of riders here, so I learn prety much by watching videos. All of the videos I watched, before the sidehope, riders find they balance point then preload - while preloading, your body and the front well can go quite low, then shoot up as fast as you can. Horndean Trials explained it quite well. Since I nailed the balance point I can now do 105 max. This is where I am stuck at the moment, I think I just need more power But the best way to pull your back wheel is the sidehop landing to front wheel, pushing it down and bringing the back wheel up by a little pivot. But that only works on the obstacles! Hope it helped.
  13. Have you also seen the new looks of Vince, some weird helmet he is wearing there, is it for horse riding? I heard it's about 35C in germany ATM + woods so no wind. I understand all the shorts thing. But I though you need to be wearing shinguards if you wear shorts by UCI rules?
  14. Great videos! I think Gilles should start wearing red mini skirt for comps, just because it might be more comfortable that normal clothes that wear MEN
  15. Is it quick release springs you are on about? It surely can't skip because of those springs?
  16. Great video, big gaps and ups. Manuals were prety good too! But, I loled so much at the end ROFL! Edit: music was great too!
  17. I am not trying to be offensive man, but I think it's those that are tightened on to adapter and can move accross. I think it might be mono mini and some other ones, DH, XC.. I am sorry for not beeing able to speak perfect english as I am not from UK, so sorry if I said anything to offend you.
  18. You probably have the self sentered ones then?
  19. Also go to the 2.4 on this document, might understand it a bit better LINK
  20. It is the hope brakes we talking about not cheap mechanical brakes or self centered ones. Google it. First you need to face your mounts both front and rear, any bike shop would probably have that tool, I know halfrods do as I am working there. FAce the mounts so your rotor is not twisted by a calliper. Then if the brake pads are not in line with the rotor or not in the centre put the washer or shim under the bolt you need to move out futher from the frame. Some times your need to put more shims to make it in the centre. Also once set up, it is going to take some time for brake pads to bed in, so be patient. Recommend using google, hope website and help you are provided here! If you still don't understand I can try to take some pics and help you
  21. You are right man, but maybe he just would not think of that, I know I wouldn't...
