I think it's the old one. My old try-all ffw was prety loud too! Unless you are right and he cleaned all the grease out of it. I got the 3rd one, begining isn't briliant though - women riding comp. -
I got a tarty one today. Has a good rise, good price and it's good quality! Feels good too! Get it!

Got it. It's prety good! -
Well, I built the bike up and just could not wait to get the rear tyre (the only bit missing!). So I went to a local shop Cycles Uk and got this baby, I was also suprised that it had a loop on it. But if Ross got that 2.5. I am definetly getting one from him, should be about 1kg. Hopefully my new front tyre and stem should come tomorrow, so I can finally finish this baby! Also I was looking for a big betty for ages now, found one, in the end they sent me 26inch... Do they not do them anymore, seemed like a nice light tyre for the rear?

I might. Just will be exteremely crap. Have to learn everything again!

Finnaly got my higher stem and front tyre. Rode it today and its lovely! Peace of cake to pull up into manual or a bunnyhop. Although taps simmed quite hard at the moment as I have not got used to the geo and the size yet. My highest on stock was about 120cm and only about 80cm(rought estimate) here. Got a little video of attempting to tap. Rear tyre doesn't realy grip well either, it's a 60a cut down high roller, going to put 42a in the next few days I think. Weight is about 9.5-.7kg. Could make it ligher by replacing the rear tyre to something else... Check it out! http://vimeo.com/10616392

The frame is about 1.8kg so only 200g heavier than hydroxx. Not too keen on the bottom tubing, looks quite a "dentable" one! Price is amazing though. I heard it has got 3 month warranty?

Be a man and get a rain king or a kaizer! I got a rubber queen 2.4 when it came out, used it for 2-3 rides and sits at home since then, grips ok, but way to big! 2.2 I would think is only ok for comp riding, make sure you use about 65 PSI (lolz!)

That was great video. He is a legend! Well the guy has to use those parts(front wheel, forks) because he is sponsored by MTB companies and not trials!
-
It is very nice indeed! Nice and simple. Why people keep calling street bike a bmx, it's simply street!

Can I Get A Lockring Off Without A Lockring Tool Thingy

I think he just cut off side treads. Still saves weight though.

I am not a BMX rider and never was, but even I enjoyed watching that! Some great styles there...!
-
I think most comp riders have plenty of presure in them, so don't think that would make a difference in grip, definetely would make it heavier! How did they save so much weight? Reducing the sidewalls and overall thickness?

Great production Thomas! People should start paying you for these kind of videos! God job! Knut is a hell of a rider! Could not work out what frame that was. What was it?

Anyone In East London/Kent Border?

Hey Spode. There are few of us in Gravesend and some good spots, I think it's about 20mins away on the train, if I am not mistaken. Is there anything to ride? -
Hi. I have had both of set ups and would say there is no difference in them. With the king, back end can some times feel a bit heavier but no a lot. With the freewheel weight destribution is better and it is also cheaper. I never tryed middleburns because I never realy like them and always had try-all cranks instead, so it was still nice and smart. I also notice my singlespeed CK was eating my horizontal drop outs a little. I changed back to a freewheel few months ago, 108 echo SL to be exact and I love it because my king used to skip a lot and could not trust it no more, echo ffw hasn't done it even once! So don't waste your money if you have a great working king.

Downloading now. 1080p - Very nice!

I have done some research about them. Smart sam looks ok and is prety light too, but is a bit hard, continentals do 24 explorer for about £10 but doubt it grips well as it's their old crappy compound, not the chilly one. The actual maxxis website says they do 24x2.5 but there isn't anything like that, only 2.7. Chainreactions do 60a compounds for £20 or same as tarty £30 for 42a (soft). I also bumped into nevegal that I was using on my 26 before and was incredibly grippy and has a nice trialsy patern to it with thick sidewalls, although there isn't a folding one for 24, just a wire one that is about 1300grams same as maxxis but in 2.5, costs £25 but lasts a lot longer than maxxis, maybe x2 or x3 longer! Maybe jsut need to cut some blocks of and should be just fine to get about 1kg tyre Linky

Looks good. I am getting one myself soon. What is the front tire? Is that soft/hard? Do you know any soft ones, except 2.7 maxxis
