  1. Strange. I thought that rubber Q. had a higher profile, from the looks. Oh well.
  2. Did not know that! Good info
  3. The bead is actualy wider than a normal tyre bead > 26" So just need to pump the tire bit by bit a press it in, get it nice and round then pump the tyre till the wanted pressure. I think it's common for prety much every tire.

    Magura Lever

I have seen quite few people already do that. Have you seen Vince's Proper bodge or at least looks like it in the video! I just filed down the angle and made the place where the lever bottoms out, a bit rounder. I don't know much about engineering but that supposed to increase flex in that part of the lever body so it does not snap. Correct me if I am wrong.
  6. 4.38 on CA's video was sweet! Damn that stuff was big!
  7. That looks good with all that red. Stem would be the first thing I would change!I actualy got prety much new trialtech forged stem in black with few sratches (2 month use). PM me if you are interested!
  8. Was that a brake I noticed on Ali's bike? Is that still the proto one? He must be testing it properly now?
  9. I quite liked the Recon! No info on weight though, looks quite a heavy one, sure a lot of protection on the back. And like that straps are from the sides of the helmet rather than top like Hex. I have a Giro Xen - realy comfortable but there isn't a lot of protection on the back and quite pricey, but 09 models are a lot cheaper now.
  10. That looks realy good! Prety damn light too!
  11. Oh yeah, obviously make it nice and prety...
  12. Thanks guys. That helped. So just cut them and bang the star nut inside
  13. I need some decent forks and know that trialtechs are, but it just always freaked me out that it has a thread inside the steerer. Just wondering how long is the tread because obviously it will need to be cut down and is it possible to do it on my own. Is it still possible to run a star nut inside it or ask tarty to cut them for me and make the thread longer (i heard they have the speacial tool)? Would go for rockman or try-all but tarty don't seemed to have any 4 bolt ones. Thanks in advance.

    New Akrigg Vid

Great video as usual with nice riding and edit. Yes, the line at the end is crazy!
  15. Aaaah! Nice! Liking the colours of the bike!
  16. Dude echo's only come in 32, not sure what you have there, even the older models were 32h only. Trialtech is 32h too. So if you want stronger hub, switch to 32h rim/hub.
  17. I was using Mow Joe on my old 24 for few days, does not grip whenever it gets tiny bit wet. It was an ORC compound too.
  18. Super stable sticky light tyre. Some people are willing to pay more. It's the same as going for more expensive frame for more performance and lightness. I payed 50 pounds for rain king and I love it, actualy makes me ride better!I would love to found out how the new rear 26 try-all tyre handle compared to rainking/kaiser. Is there any of tartyman going to test those babes out (lets not point fingers at Stan and Ali) Although the front looks like going to last half time of the old one for double the price...
  19. There are quite a lot of people complaining that it does not hold grinds at all. I would go for good old trialstech SL or try-all hole rim instead.
  20. I've cracked the 08 model that had 4 bold mount on the front, just were the mount was. Don't recommend welding anything onto a fork, if you want to live, but that just my opinion.
  21. 135mm is definetly better and bolts for snails are in my opinion way to go too. Frame looks mint. Just a question why is the frame is so heavy? Taking in consideration that it has loads of drilled holes in it and carbon top tube.
  22. I have a question. What time will it be possible to come, roughly what time. There are few of us comming and we live down south and will take about 5h to get there, we wanted to leave home at 5-6am. WIll the camp be open by the time we come (10-11am)?
  23. 6th is best for most peeps I think including me! My last exam is on 24th may. Will be riding 24/7
  24. Why would you even put any tar on ground rim? Makes the brake crap. Why people are using smooth rims in trials anyways?! Never understood that! Kind of get the idea of using them on street bike (24/26) to have more modulation, but not in trials where you prety much need brake to be on or off. Soft brake pads make the brake feel uber poopness aka gash...
