no they don't help stop shindigs! If you've gotmoney to spend spend it on some 661 shin gaurds, or to make your pedals more grippy if you are using platform pedals cut the middle bitout because then your shoes slightly go into that and there is more grip on either side of the pedal;

I wanted to start this topic early to get a big turn out. So to kick off the 6 weeks of pure hardcore riding (summer holidays) I thought it would be good for a big ride on Sunday 26th July. guirkin wrapped in melted cheese grapes mixed herbs and marmite in a bread roll with mayonaise and ketchup ontop. It was nice (my family says I have a wierd taste)

bad points: .slowly makes the rim weaker, if you do harsh grinds .wears down your pads faster .people would pay more for a non grinded rim good points: .better noise .better hold .better bite ALTOGETHER I'd say give your rim a grind but before you do what pads are you running?

Put an advertisement in your local shop for lawn mowing, dog walking, etc etc. I get a tenner for mowing a lawn every fortnight.
